How amazing must it feel for the Thompson family to see that, both of them top 5 picks. That must be a fantastic moment for them.
    Basketball.

I inhaled sharply at this. Wow. I know he had risen on a lot of mocks recently, but still, wow.

I had him about 12th on my own big-board. 6 is wild.

Interesting espn has Jalen Hood Schifino a bit higher than what I recall.

I'm a fan of his also.

I had Jarace as 5th on my board and Cam Whitmore 6th*. Both of them sliding by my estimation, right now.

*My board is more tier based than strict rankings in fairness, people move about a bit

There's your ''this will either be awesome or get someone fired'' pick.

Bilal again, a reach to me - he's that guy with the fantastic build and athleticism but who is in need of a lot of growth in terms of skill. Very much a project in some ways. Will be interesting to see how quickly he grows now that he's not in Wemby's shadow.

Who are they beating for 10 wins? Other tanking teams?

    Even the Bobcats won 7.

So they just swapped picks, even though they were right next to each other?

    That's a very strange move.

  12. #62
At least they get the 2nd rounders, in fairness.

That's not strange, it's pure idiocy. Wtf are they doing?

This happens if you are worried that the other team either wants your guy or could let someone trade in front of you to pick who you want.

Yep. ''Hey, 7, we really want that guy - I'll give you some seconds if you agree to let us have him'' type stuff.

Then #7, who probably didn't want him anyway, are like ''...sure''

Washington needs all the throws at the dartboard that they can get. Their new regime is just as dumb as the last one.

Nah, this makes some sense for Washington.

Get the project guy who could be super special. Yeah he's gonna suck for a few years, but so are the Wizards - they know they're in a rebuild, so who cares?

Washington is a farm team. They will get him up to speed and Bilal will be like ok, peace out lol

That's exactly how half the league thinks about us Gotta make decisions based on your own trajectory, not on how other teams perceive you. Have a plan and go for it.

I wanted Indiana's pick. Maybe Dallas will do us a solid. Dont worry about what conference we play in.

Will Leonard Miller fall to us?

  23. #73
There goes my dream pick. Stay at 14 then.

  24. #74

Nice pickup for Utah, I like Hendricks. Very much the modern 3s-and-blocks 4, always plays with effort, and even if the auxiliary skills never develop his core skills are valuable enough to build a career around.

He's not a 'fall' case - most mocks have him going in the early 20s.

If you want him, trade back. Give Brooklyn #14 in exchange for #21 and #22, get Miller there. Add Podziemski while you're at it.
