well, here we go. For the record, I hope we keep #1.

Looks like no top 3 trade for the Pelicans!

  4. #29
Now we wait to find out if we select using #14 or if we make another move with it. Lots of option still, even without the blockbuster trade.

Poor Scoot. Portland is basketball purgatory.

Lillard should demand a trade if there isn't another update saying Portland is moving Scoot. If he doesn't, it's his own fault - he's letting them do it to him at this point.

Houston does not deserve Amen Thompson.

Good. The zany craziness can stop. Logic won.

Now what real things can they do with 14.

Scoots face was like : Ughhh, do I really gotta go there?

I mean a trade could still happen. Not unheard of it to have teams trade who they picked later in the draft

I'm not one to judge initial reactions like that because you really don't know what's going on inside heads, but yeah he didn't look thrilled.

This is true, we can't rule it out 100%, but I think some degree of ''move on'' is due.

Scoot: ''No matter who's calling me, I'm blessed to be here''

Portland is so dumb. The last thing they needed was another small guard. They already have Dame and Simons, but they lack everything else. Is their GM that bad?

They may have intentions to make another move, I guess. It's still possible. But yeah it doesn't look great for them right now.

I feel rough for Amen at #4. Houston is filled with ball dominant, score-first guys, it's going to be hard for someone like Amen to really get the on-ball reps he's going to need to maximise his skillset. Not a great spot for him developmentally.

Yeah, through being selected and the interview that followed you could see the disappointment just emanating from him.

Let the slide of Jarace Walker begin.

At least Harden chose to stay in Philly.

It's a shame. Amen will probably make it work anyway because he's such a smart player but yeah, really is not the optimal spot for him.

Kind of like the guy that was the first pick in 2019, huh?

As expected, Ausar also goes top 10 - that's where the final ESPN mock had him. I like it.

Jarace's slide continues, but the fit for him wouldn't have worked on the Pistons anyway, who already have a logjam of bigmen.

    I would like Indiana's pick at 7....
