Pelicans December 28th - New Orleans Pelicans vs Minnesota Timberwolves - 21-12

Going into this game against the 16-18 Wolves, the Pelicans are in sole ownership of the 2nd seed in the West.

The Injury report is promising: Zion, dyson, and Trey are all upgraded to probable for the game, and even Herb is now questionable rather than out. Ingram remains out for now.

Meanwhile, in Minnesota's last game they were missing a ton of guys: Anderson and KAT, most notably - will they be back?

The Wolves have lost 3 in a row, so let's see if we can keep up the current winning streak: especially if guys like KAT are out. Let's see how the team fares with some hopeful returns and a team that can't be overlooked.

Hard to believe BI has already missed 18 games this season. And we're 12-6 without him.

    Who's BI?

Beginning to wonder who gets back on the court first, BI or EJ.

grade 3 turf toe can take 2-6 months to heal, and that may be incomplete

I thought they said it wasn't turf toe?

It's only listed on the injury report as a ''great toe contusion''.

Don't recall it ever being reported as turf toe. As a matter of fact, right after it happened, they said it was positive that it was only a contusion and no structural damage. It is crazy how much he has missed with this (about 5 weeks already).

I'm a little bit worried that he's now missed more games than he's played this year. I hope it's not going to last too much longer and that he's alright.

Just activate BI when we're up 3-0 against the celtics in the finals.

Tonight's game is already sold out.

Let me re-phrase this: a Wednesday night home game in December is sold out for the Pelicans - the current Second Seed in the West, who are only one game back from the top seed.

I'll be in that number. I expect the place to be rocking!

What’s the deal with Ingram? Is he missing all these games from when Naji hit him in the head or did he roll his ankle?

The injury he is listed as being out with is a toe contusion. That's what's been his official listed reason for weeks now.

Larry Nance ruined a perfect alley oop pass from Dyson

If i was minny i would rather have naz reid than gobert and still have Vanderbilt Kessler and all those picks they sent out...would have been more versatile and better defensively.

with Herb out, Jaxson Hayes looks like the best guy to defend Ant Edwards right now

trey can finish! idk how he managed to dunk that

Sure seems like Minny is getting away with a lot of illegal defense. Even on that Zion charge Naz was just sitting in the lane, not covering any Pel.
