    Pelicans November 28th - New Orleans Pelicans vs Oklahoma City Thunder - 11-8



    Thunder are currently 8-12, and thy're a weird team this year. They're clearly not good, still, but they're the kind of bad team who isn't totally without redeeming features and therefore if you take them as an easy win, they will push you far harder than you expect. Obviously that carries a lot of risk.

    Trap games come up all the time, but this could be one. Especially after a loss last game, coming home against a bad team might feel like an easy way to get back on the rails - the team can't fall into that mindset. Execution must follow focus.

    Let's see what happens.

    I sure don't want to jinx them, but they have recently done a nice job of focusing and handling teams they are supposed to beat.... let's hope this continues tonight and it will be interesting to see who is available as well....

    I wanna see Dyson & Herb take at least 5 3-pt shots EACH and Zion to have at least 8 assists. Small steps but...time to start moving this team in the right direction.

    i want to see zion be the alpha tonight and lead the team with 40+ pts since CJ and BI are out.....

    temple should get mins tonight to rain on some of you temple folks feelings lol....i will enjoy the meltdown..i need the comedy tonight....

    Before last year's trade deadline, BI had a similar team winning these types of games. His main sidekicks were Josh Hart, Val, and Devonte.

    Can Zion do the same tonight?

    Good help D from Zion, and Herb going to the rim instead of settling for outside shots. Lob from Jose to Zion. This has the feeling of a bounce back game already!

    I have PTSD from Herb shooting 3s. I dont like him to shoot them even when its a good shot, and then when he makes it I feel bad lol

    The stat sheet might tell you that Zion isn't doing much, but he is being doubled every possession which is creating open looks for his teammates

    In retrospect we should have let him go to the d-league and develop considering how super raw and young he was coming into the league. Feels like a miss from the Pelicans on developing his talent.

    good timeout by Willie, unfocused on defense that possession, poor rotations leaving guys open on the perimeter.
