a bit redundant with Trey perhaps, but I could still see McDermott filling a solid bench role here....a little long in the tooth, but he can still shoot....

I had him as a FA target summer before last. But the Spurs basically doubled his previous contract so good for him.

otoh it was a short deal and he'll be on an expiring contract next year.

otoh I don't know if this team wants his type that only really plays one side of the floor.

No CJ again tomorrow. In health and safety protocols, so maybe he had covid all this time after all. Had his best game this year against the grizzlies last time.
