Y'all gonna love Dyson. Just all the little things on both ends with potential for big things long term. What a perfect pick. Thanks Lakers!!!!

I’m not as excited about Daniels as most of you but I’d be ok with it

Dang....that profile is a long history of how Sharpe developed severe attachment issues. Red flags for days. I bet he plays for many NBA teams. Glad we dodged that one.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

    And it's Daniels.

I prefer him to Dieng, at least, even if I would have picked others at this spot.

Griffin and Duren falling potentially out of the top 10 will be huge value picks for some teams

    This worked out so perfectly.

I wanted Daniels at 8 since May, until finding out Sharpe would possibly drop to 8.

Watch us trade back just to spite all of you

Murray and Ivey with the perfect call at 4 and 5. I'm super happy with that.

Dyson Daniels rundown for those who may not know much about him:

    Height: 6'7
    Wingspan: 6'11
    Weight: 195lbs
    13pts, 8rbds, 5asts per game on 53%TS

    Strengths:
    - Really good, keyed in defender with high level instincts
    - Solid enough secondary passer who plays well within his role
    - Crafty finisher with some floater touch

    Weaknesses:
    - Cannot shoot whatever, from 3 or the FT line
    - Extremely mediocre athlete
    - Not a ballhandler

    Just a super basic rundown

  12. #237
Dieng at 9. Maybe a reach for Jovic.

I think they call this "The Fred Vinson Special"

I'll take it for sure. I really didn't think he would be there when we pick. I'm a happy camper.

He’s an ok athlete, great length, great lateral movement. Slowish first step and a weak jumper

Thank God. That went perfectly. We got our guy and his name wasn't Griffin or Dieng.

    I love all of y'all.

No burst, no real vertical, not massively strong or fast, but he's not Kyle Anderson, that's why I say mediocre athlete rather than bad athlete

I’m trying to convince myself that his off ball skills are better than we’ve seen, because he never gets the ball back from his teammates once he passes to them

"We didnt like either of them (the deals offered). We were gonna take Dieng"

    - text I just got back after I asked what we would have done if Blazers took Daniels
