Before I watch this, can you tell me if Trey's responses are worth listening to Fletch's cringe?

Trey is so intelligent and well spoken. He gives a great interview. He's a really likeable kid and easy to root for, as are most of our players.
And he said that when the team measured him recently, they measured him at 6'9 without shoes. So that would put him at 6'10-6'10.5 with shoes on. Basically he's grown about an inch since he was drafted. And he's been using the off-season primarily to workout and get stronger.
Both things bode well for his longterm ability to be an elite stretch 4. We can play him at the 3 when we want to go with a bigger lineup or put him at the 4 when we want shooters to surround Zion and spread the floor for him.
Said they measured him at the combine at 6'9 without shoes (IIRC), but he's 6'10 now WITH shoes. Never understood why they'd give a measurement without shoes as if you'll play barefooted.
Maybe its just me.
So did he grow? Because when I put on shoes I’m an inch taller too…
No he measured 6'8 without shoes at the combine. Now he measured 6'9 without shoes. So yes, he grew an inch.
