@mcnamara247
3 of the top 4 are WC. Not great. But honestly, none of those teams should pass the Pels with the head start the Pels have plus the 8th pick.
Didn’t think we’d be up there. So be it.
That's fine. For some reason I had a feeling we'd get 9 or something. Still should be a promising wing left by the 8th pick.
Who are we taking with the 8th pick ?
Danggitttt. Better than moving back lol or not having it at all.
R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
Griff sells this pick or buys?
Sacramento gets to draft their umpteenth wing
1. Magic - Paolo
2. OKC - Chet
3. Rockets - Jabari
4. Kings - Sharpe
5. Pistons - Murray
6. Pacers - Ivey
7. Blazers - Duran
8. Pelicans will a lot of options on the board. And honestly, I think there is a path to get up to #4 if you want to be bold to get your top guard.
SO, open the war chest a bit to get the player you covet?
I think the 3 bigs go in some order in the top 3. And those teams wont be willing to trade out. I think you can get from 8 to 4. I think a lot of teams will have 4-8 or 9 in the same tier. Would you guys give up our 2023 pick (that has the ability to swap with the Lakers) to go from 8 to 4? What if the cost is more than that? Would you be willing to give up that Lakers 2024/25 pick to go from 8 to 4?
I think I would give up next years pick for sure. The Lakers pick? They gotta give me a little sweetner back. Like 8, Lakers pick, Temple and Graham for 4 and Harrison Barnes
I think that Lakers 2024/25 pick is seen as one of the most prized assets in the league, if you want to part with it. Griff puts that on the table, and he can get any guard he wants in this draft. Or Murray. And I am sure he would offer it for Jabari, I just dont think any of the top 3 trade out regardless of what is offered. Unless it is within the top 3. Historically, teams dont trade out of top tier and I think the consensus will be a three man top tier come June
The only guy I’d move up for is Sharpe. If the Pels think he’ll be a star then you go get him. Sharpe, Ingram, and Zion could potentially be special. I’d take Maturin if we stay at 8.
Our two biggest weaknesses are perimeter defense and perimeter offense. Assuming we keep the pick which player best addresses each need?
so is Sacramento starting to get dangerous, or nah?
