Focus in on Ayton when they're on offense and he's off the ball for a bit then get back at me. They're being allowed a lot of body action that the Pels aren't. That's just one. They're getting away with a lot of contact that isn't being reciprocated on the other hand.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

No matter you gotta admire Herbs composure and willingness to guard the best players whenever. Beyond impressed

Myles Turner has been on the block every trade season and every summer for 3 years and nobody wants him. There are reasons for that imo.
    Basketball.

Pnr defense is about bad as Jonas is one of them.

Secondly, it's because Pacers are always mediocre.

The fact that we are still in this despite having 9 more turnovers, shooting 13/29 from 2, being out-assisted, out-stole, and out-blocked, is really a stroke of madness. Outside of Devonte's early storm of threes we have 0 bench points. It's insane.

If someone can just wake up - anyone, really - and start hitting shots we take this.

Super wary about drafting Chet if he’s there to be honest. Idk how his size will hold in the NBA.

I want to assume we keep Zion at the 4 and draft the best 2 guard available

What's worse, in a way, is that they completely changed how they're officiating. Guess they went in at half time and figured they'd call things tighter to get control. Which is annoying because a foul should be consistent from quarter to quarter and game to game.

I think we've seen enough skinny tall guys with elite skills make NBA impact at this point (I am thinking heavily of Durant's inability to bench even a single lift, here) to not worry about that beyond normal concerns. Similarly, we've seen enough players with reportedly fine physiques fail to materialise talent as well. Weight can be gained; rookie Giannis looked like a toothpick. His frame was bigger and I don't expect Chet to ever become Giannis because Giannis is giant now, but the point stands about super skinny rookies.

If his medicals are clear, he's the best prospect in the draft - passing up on that to draft someone you think is worse because they're jacked is weird to me. Production and skills over aesthetics.

We've shot 13 more FTAs than them so I'm willing to bite my tongue about a few errant calls

Really pleased with the 3rd quarter production so far. Closing that gap. Gotta keep it up though, and not let the concentration waver once we think we're back in it

Yeah, I am sure Suns fans are sitting there thinking the refs are helping their team out.

Its so clear the calls have been going their way all game. Not biased, at all

Well, I never seen a skinny big that Dae didn't like with halfway decent mechanics. Don't get defensive, Dae. It's perfectly okay to have that take lol. It's just a friendly rib.

I'm chill, just giving my reason that the physique doesn't bother me much. Not everything is an argument

Pretty simple... Jonas, CJ, and Ingram quit the 3 on 5 bs... They are playing like a team and running offense

  18. #118
And, as often happens, it's all coming down to the 4th.

Just need 12 minutes of success here and we're up 2-1 over the 1 seed. Come on, guys!

Overall a real good quarter, but why is Nance switching so quickly off the center?

They were able to do that because there were no 2 big lineups that quarter, since Jax was thrown out. I dont know why Willie insists on that

I might try to steal a couple of minutes with Billy on McGee.
