Round two
Basketball.
When's the first game you guys think we see CJ?
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.
BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.
Yeah, Powell played 2 days after being traded. Hopefully we see CJ Thursday, but could be Saturday.
That trade was broken into layers. It depends on when his portion of the trade gets finalized.
i wonder how will the team come out tonight without hart energy....
Hopefully with Jose energy.
Hart turned into my favorite player, so I'll miss him and hopefully the team doesn't take a giant emotional hit from this but I'm thinking with Jose energy, Herb work ethic, and the tight atmosphere Green and BI have created....we should be fine.
These are the moments that Temple makes sense. All reports are that the guy is a very grounding presence in the locker room.
that second unit is having fun and ballin....naji doing what hart does and thats push the pace full steam to the rim....glad to see naji getting some run....
A half hour interview on Bally Broadcast with David Griffin and not even a passive mention of Zion Williamson's rehab. Something is not right.
See you soon https://t.co/Ittb7phImj

I was really worried in the 2nd half because we let Houston stay within spitting distance plus we had major foul problems with JV and Jaxon, but the reserves played lights out when BI was on the bench getting his rest. The 4th quarter was frantic but this team plays hard. The young kids keep getting better and better. Obviously, it was against a very young Rockets team, but still....
Zion is officially a ghost.
BI needs to be given props on the defensive end now. 3 blocks and off-ball defense has been fantastic. Even if that only shows up on the stat sheet by proxy.
Ain’t going to lie. Seeing Josh and NAW on the sidelines cheering their brothers on and them hugging them at the end brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful moment and shows this team is more than a business. Willie has brought a new culture for sure.
On another note. The refs were a joke. Especially when it came to JV. Every time he put a pinky on someone they would play there best actor role and get a whistle! Extremely frustrating!
This team gets the weirdest calls against it you just don't see in other games.
Half the time I have no idea what they called.
First game I watched in months. Been hearing the chatter at Jax's improvement but WOW. At his best in the past, he has looked like an uber athletic guy who has talent but plays out of control. Tonight he looked like a fundamentally sound player taking what is given to him and not forcing anything - and letting his physical advantages help him win matchups. Love to see that
Also... we don't look like losers out there anymore. None of these guys are quitting or giving up down the stretch. There's still some Q4 execution issues, but it's not a loser mentality anymore. By early Dec I got tired of watching that defeated energy every game. MAJOR props to Willie.
Let me just say how nice it is that we were able to go into a game that we are supposed to win, be missing some of our key guys from recent games because of the trade, have the distraction of the trade, and still beat the Rockets comfortably. This is looking like a team that is figuring out how to take care of business.
