Dinwiddie, Devonte Graham, Reggie Jackson, Powell, and Markkanen are the only free agents still on the market I am interested in.

Dinwiddie doesn’t seem so bad by comparison.

It wasn't even that. It's throwing 2nd round picks in that great of a draft is what bother me. Especially, getting Cooper. Butler, or Thor.

Imagine we let Ball walk only to sign Fournier who was horrible in Bos last year

Take on salary and give TOR a 2nd round pick or two for Dragic, throw a big 1 year deal at Dipo and give him a chance to resurrect his career, clear the books for next years FA class or use the expirings and some of our future 1sts for a star that wants out mid-season

Markkanen is not good. No thank you.

Yes, it would be nice if we could add something - and I certainly hope we can - but if the only option is a massive overpay then I'd rather just go into the season as is.

Like, for example, Powell is still available. I want to add Powell. But if Powell is demanding $25m a year for 4 years, I would rather just go into the season as it is.
Three all-stars starting on that roster.

I'm loving Dinwiddie more and more.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

What is this team the Bulls are putting together? Doesn't make sense. Ball and Caruso. Overpays galore.

Dragic was my first choice, but at this point I'd be happy with Reggie Jackson. A veteran player who has played well in pressure situations, good on defense and can be number 3 option on offense. He should fit the Pelican's needs nicely.

4 years feels like too many to give on a average-sometimes above average players so I kind of see why Pels aren’t just throwing 10m-20m at a Ball, Hart, Fournier, or Schroeder. That’s too many years to be locked in on those kind of players while they might not ever reach the next level and just taking up cap after the first or second year.
