NAW helped this team come back. He gets 3 point happy sometimes but at least he can throttle that down and go to a mid-range or attack.

If Lonzo and JJ aren't hitting shots, then they might as well be playing for the opposition. Not the case with NAW. He can do other things at least.

Out of the options between Melli, JJ, and Lonzo. I'll take NAW all day and live with his issues over the others.

And I sincerely do not want to see Kira this year. And trust me it's hard with how bad Lonzo and JJ have been.

While we are pointing out how poorly Lonzo played offensively, he was also a liability down the stretch defensively, too. Since the beginning of the season someone in this forum said that there will be a team to throw a Max Contract at him next year. I hope to God it's not the Pelicans.

Because some may get bruised feelings if I mention what a Liability Zion is defensively, I won't mention it.

I know. I'm flabbergasted at the NAW hate here for taking shots.

Only the shot selection. Come on a step back three? Drive and get the defender in the air, get a foul, win it a the FT line.

I know it's a loss, but congrats to Adams on his first triple double ever.

That's not just in basketball, sir....that's in all facets of life.

Pelicans just need better decision making guards all around. I can't understand the current ones mindset.

I know but we're referencing BB players at the moment.

What's the old adage, Lonzo? Never foul a jump shooter, right?

Lowest Basketball IQ for a point guard I've ever seen.

I agree with this.. With more on court time I think NAW can improve in that area. I don't like some of the shots he takes, it seems as though once he's determined to score that's what he attempts to do no matter what the defense is giving him. Even if it's not the appropriate thing to do. This tendency can be improved with coaching and more minutes in my opinion.

What happens first, Pels finally put it all together, or BI generates enough buzz for Klutch to come calling for his return to LA?
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Yep, if the coach yanks them when they go hero ball it will get their attention.

Disappointing loss by the team, it was painful to watch muscala go on a 10-0 run by himself.

I know...Was frustrated with Hayes for not guarding outside knowing that was the Muscala's game.

Can someone give me a good reason why we close games with Lonzo instead of Bledsoe? I'm not sure there's a good enough reason why SVG want Ball over Bledsoe to close games.

Bledsoe can't shoot at all.. He shrinks the floor, which crowds the paint.. leaving less space for Zion and Ingram to operate.

I would like to clarify that I like NAW a lot, but I can understand that NAW taking 15 FGA just isn't winning basketball at this point of his very young career.

Shooters have to have that mamba mentality, but he could dial it back a bit.

Is that a joke? Then why are his percentages a lot higher than ball across the board?

He's a career 33% 3Pt shooter with only 3 attempts per.. Zo is currently at 35% on 7 attempts Per.. To answer your question no, I don't see a joke.. Maybe check the data first before making assessments boss..

You better recheck your percentages after this game because it's pathetic considering how many 3 point shots he's launching a night. It ain't 35%.

Look.. You're wrong. Don't try to move the goal post. I explained to you why Zo is a better option, even though he's not a great one. Then you come with some lame response about what about after this game.

The bottom line is Bledsoe can't shoot. He shrinks the floor. This should be relatively easy for you to understand.

Hes not. He had a fluke year last season. Now his streaky ****** shooting is coming back down to earth. He's shooting 32.7% from 3.
