This game is way more entertaining if you imagine the ball is dripping with baby oil.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.
BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.
Lonzo has to have the most improved shot in the league over the past season and change. Great start.
Glad to see Lonzo hitting tonight. They give him shots like that all day, and when he hits them the offense has so many more looks.

Hayes did make a great smothering coverage on the next possession.

They are finally seeing Hayes vertical spacing and it feels good
If Jax developed any skills at all, he would be a monster. For all of his rookie and ‘dumb’ mistakes, he makes several good decisions as well.
