Thread: August 3rd - New Orleans Pelicans vs Memphis Grizzlies - 0-2 - Bubble Game 3

Great force from Zion there, to just start moving through the defender. If they're not in charge position, you have right of way.
    Basketball.

    Zion fouled again no call.

    Jesus Christ.

  3. #28
If Zion can get that isolation. It's automatic. Zion's crazy reaction speed and eye movements for offensive rebounds is simply out of this world.

    Nice spurt

    Zion looks awful....

Loved that, they ran a complete action without Zion involved at all in order to create gravity for him to be open, easy finish. More of that please.

Also a side note, I really like the defense overall tonight so far compared to earlier games. It's far from perfect but it's just looked like they actually care a bit more, and are maybe communicating. The slower pace almost certainly plays a role in that.

Not really. He's looked actually pretty solid on defense, been in the right spot. Been far more active on the glass than in previous games.

Yes he's technically 2/7 from the field, but at least 3 of those 5 misses should have been called fouls to be honest.

Exactly. Zion himself has looked fine. The ability of this team to turn that into production has been low, but it's hardly his fault that he can be triple teamed and the refs won't call fouls, is it?

He's just plowed into people on offense or cherry picked easy layups and on defense he refuses to get in a stance or put a hand up while always being behind the break. It's getting frustrating especially because the players (coaches?) seem intent on spoon feeding him as many touches as possible

Man. They cut to Griff fast when Zion fell. Lol
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

Almost grabbed that board. That's the activity we want to see from Zion.

They're gonna sit him for that though lol, heavy fall

I'm not sure what you're watching, tbh.

Favors... Your garbage offense is going to make us trade up for Wiseman. Don't put that evil on us.

Beautiful drive from Ingram leads to a neat dish to Jrue. Lovely play.

  16. #41
Man, these refs could have called so many fouls that they just will not go with.

  17. #42
    Redick just automatic.

    Man... Hayes still pretty thin.

Nice play making from Ingram.. he needs to continue to play as a facilitator/scorer. 3 assists so far.

    In the can you'd think

We can’t get complacent here, remember we were up big on the Jazz. This team is too inexperienced to hold a lead, and to young to realize when one is vanishing.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

  23. #48
Favors is a one and done here.

  24. #49
I can see why they called that a charge lol

A charge... I don't remember the feet being set.
