I'm down for another OT game so Zion gets his 20 lol

  2. #227
Zion needed to sink into the restricted area there as Butler cut. He was shading, but he needed to commit to the help. Would have left the corner open though; difficult choice.
    Basketball.

Zion will not get 20. There is no way

Seem like they've been trying to send a message the last couple of games.

I'm down for him just getting another opportunity. Aside from that travel call, he hasn't taken a shot since that transition bucket.

Big 3 from Ingram. Finally hitting a few shots in the 4th.

It would appear that I am on a delay. Lol
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

He has taken 9 shots tonight.

    Ingram: 19
    Jrue: 13
    Lonzo: 12
    Hart: 12
    Melli: 9

We run almost nothing for Zion outside of transition and post. And we don't even see the post opportunities 50% of the time.

Like I was saying about Zion not getting help from the coach.. To free Shaq and Duncan for deep paint touches there would be cross action in the paint and off ball screens. There's no such thing for Zion. He has to fight the entire possession in the paint.

    King James owns that league?

I think teams with solid bigs have figured out a way to defend Zion.

It's simple... We don't cover Favors.

    Again no discipline. Gentry team.
Can you tell I can't stand him?

Absolutely sucks that Zion's 20pt streak has to get cut short by a lack of opportunity and bad offense. But hey, if we get a win, I'll take that in exchange.

Ha. No but really. We need to find more creative ways to get him open. Most of our turnovers stem from forcing bad passes to him in the paint. We should at least be able to utilize our most efficient option.

Wonder where the cry babies are at tonight

Doris Burke continuing to try and push the Lebron MVP talk for the 3rd time this game.

He's not the MVP. He's not in the running. It's clearly Giannis, nobody else is in the conversation.

Duncan robinson really shat on the whole Tyler Herro experience didn't he? Seems like he took Herro's spot

  18. #243
Lol have Zion take a 3

I'm here. I cry about Gentry. Not the team.

Herro had a bad stretch then got injured. Happens.

Nobody runs off-ball screens for him.. They were ran for Duncan, and Shaq in the paint.. and Karl Malone by Stockton.

I decided to drink tonight instead of watching the game. I expect to lose but not sure if we lost yet. Will be fun to watch the highlight in the next 20 min tho. lol
Actual proof Greivis Vasquez can throw Anthony Davis an Alley-OOP on an (kinda) fastbreak!

Lebron has the best rpm in the nba

Lakers would not be. a playoff team without him

Giannis buckles would be in the 7th seed
