After a disheartening but predictable defeat at the hands of the Lakers, we roll around to Tuesday. It's a pretty good Tuesday. Super, I've heard. But what would really be Super is getting another game in the win column by handing an L to the woefully bad Minnesota Timberwolves.
This game is scheduled to begin at 7pm CST (1am GMT)

So, Wolves then. What about 'em?
With a record of 17-42, the Wolves are bad. Real bad. You might think that all those trades have helped them, but you'd be wrong; they're 1-7 in their last 8 games. Some of this is due to good opposition; they've played Denver, for example, Boston, and Dallas twice. But they've also had big losses to Charlotte and Orlando, so they're not exactly cleaning up the trash either.
I'm not going to run down the list of their usual statistics, because they've had massive roster turnover, and Karl-Anthony Towns is still out with his fractured wrist, so it's not like we'll be getting them at full strength anyway. That's a shame because I would have loved to see what Zion would do to a defense anchored by KAT, who is a fantastic offensive player who but leaks away all his value by being one of the worst defensive bigs in the NBA. At least, regarding bigs who actually get minutes.
We play Minnesota twice this week, and since our other two games are against good teams in Dallas and Miami, it's pretty important that we take these Minnesota games to bolster us through the final ''difficult-ish'' part of our schedule, just before that cakewalk final 16 comes along. With no KAT, a mostly new roster that hasn't been executing, and our recent consistency when it comes to putting terrible teams away, we should be able to take this one.
All we need is execution and intensity. The talent is there. Just need to put it together. #WBD
