And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how officiating will always keep big market teams winning over smaller market teams, in today's NBA.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

What a flop, so glad the refs didnt fall for it

  13. #163
I think he was referring to the refs giving them practically 7 pts on the other end a couple minutes earlier.

"Even though Caruso was in retreating mode".....

Man, if they called the extended arm an offensive foul every time it's used, the game would be very different.

Coaches need to challenge more. (Ah ok. Can't challenge a no call)

That post was from when Favors for his 3rd. If the game were called evenly, he would only be on one or their guy's would have gotten several on Jrue alone.

Do we have anyone working on Zions FTs?

  18. #168
This game is just whiplashing from side to side.

As good a defender Jrue is... Lebron has probably 4 inches and 40 lbs on him. He's going to have problems covering Lebron.

Yeah. Can't remember who, maybe Andrew Lopez, but someone posted a while ago on Twitter that Zion was specifically working on his FT form with a shooting coach, and noted that we should therefore be understanding if his FT stroke comes and goes from time to time.

Which has been what's happened. Shot badly first 3 games, then shot like 75% for 8 games, has now shot badly again for a little while. Sucks but it happens when you're changing the shot.

Yep. The issue is, who do you put on him otherwise? Ingram's the right height but weighs about 60lbs too little. Favors is tall enough, but is too slow on the perimeter. Hart is strong but he's even smaller than Jrue is. Zion's the right height, weight, and speed, but hasn't got anything like the experience yet.

We clean up the offensive glass and cut down on bad turnovers and we can make a go of this.

I was excited for that Lonzo drive. Paint was pretty open. Then he passed way too early into an Ingram 3 that got blocked and I somehow knew that was the spirit of this game lol

    58-64 at the half?

    I'll take it.

I don't expect this to be a win at all. As long as it's competitive, I'm happy.

Good half, grab more reb and clean up turnovers and we will be in this game. Need Ingram to go off in the second.
