It is disturbing when I MUTE the TV. It REALLLLLLLLY accentuates how BAD officiating is.

Wow. That quarter felt AWFUL but we only gave up 2 points on the lead.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

Looks like Lonzo is struggling to chew gum and dribble tonight.

He's been pretty dreadful most of the game

Zo attacked the rim and scored. People can be quiet about it now! l)
Actual proof Greivis Vasquez can throw Anthony Davis an Alley-OOP on an (kinda) fastbreak!

This is what I don't understand. No BI and no Zion and both Jrue and Zo are struggling.

Oooh, is Lonzo waking up? He drove and scored

Even I could do that once.
I want that for the rest of the game.
    Zo is too predictable.
The defense just knows he is looking to dish so they clog the lane.

Jrue struggling as far as I'm concern is his new consistency of play this year.

In fairness, and I'm gonna repeat this even though I don't think it's what you mean because I know that post-game, there will be people who try to distort this, Jrue's game has been far and away better than Lonzo's tonight.

The only thing Jrue has really struggled with is his scoring, and most of those struggles came after he got absolutely rocked by Sabonis and had to have his face stitched back up. He was doing fine before then.

Aside from that, Jrue's been playmaking well (his playmaking early was insane, total masterclass) and has been defensively locked in. Lonzo's been making extremely bad decisions all game and he's played traffic cone defense most of the night.

I guess we are gonna be stuck at trailing 10- 9 games below .500 for the next eternity. Figure.

The game flow lead changes looks like a knotted up headphone cords.

Honestly, if you can go back and rewatch after the game, go watch that first quarter back. Not just for Jrue, the ball movement from most of the team was awesome. Favors' short roll passing was immaculate.

That said, Jrue's playmaking in the first quarter was dynamite and he was 3/3 inside of the arc. His missing really started after he hit a layup on Sabonis and had to leave the game to get 5 stitches above his eye.

Lonzo is 7/12 overall tonight. 1/5 from 3.

Driving is good, at-rim attempts are good, layups are your friend.
