Ten point lead. I'll take it.

Gentry deserves an immense amount of praise.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

Jrue has played 18 minutes, and he has 25 points, 6 assists, 2 steals, is shooting 66% from the floor and 100% from 3 (4-4), and has been the best player on the court for either side.

Watch out though: we're shooting 60% from 3 and they're shooting 20%. Odds are we're going to come back down to earth a little in the second half and they might warm up. Need to have better defense overall to compensate.
LoL could have been more? Seriously? Couldn’t they be playing much better? Ridiculous! You stated how incredible we are shooting and how bad they are.. but we should have more? Lol

    No. Only downvotes for Gentry

Dwight is pushing Hayes under the goal after a FT attempt. I can't wait till he bulks up a little.
Actual proof Greivis Vasquez can throw Anthony Davis an Alley-OOP on an (kinda) fastbreak!

Yeah and Jah needs to stay out of foul trouble

Ftlog, Ingram needs to be on Davis at least every other possession or two. This would be a 18+ point lead if we didn’t have a 6’6 G/F allowing Davis to drop 27 in the 1H, half of the Lakers points

If we win this game, sure. Still another half to go. The guys look up for it tonight

This is the worst broadcast team of all time. They've so far talked about everything BUT the game. They've talked about Zion, they've talked about the AD trade, they've talked about Lebron's claims of being called washed, they've talked about how tall JVG is, they've talked about load management, but they have not yet once talked about the game.

Now JVG is talking about the dropping ratings. Maybe the ratings are dropping because every show on TV is being commentated on by ignorant blow hard morons who don't care about the game and only exist to insult it and talk about themselves.
Somehow, you need to listen to the radio broadcast. Todd Graffagnini is radio gold. Unashamed homer. Totally biased. It's like he's a fan.

He's not strong enough to guard AD on the block, bad idea.. I'm a big Ingram supporter but I hated that half of basketball from him.. He was clearly passive and taking really dumb 3 point shots.

When Favors does come back, it wouldn’t hurt to keep him on a minutes restriction. We need him on the court, but we also need him to stay healthy. We have too many decent bigs not to give him some rest. I honestly felt that rushing him back with that tight hamstring was silly, and it showed in his play.

Wanna point out that while Jaxson has had obvious struggles (he is just not strong enough yet to really stop Dwight, for example) he's only picked up 1 foul and has had several good defensive plays in his 10 minutes so far, including an early block, an early vertical contest on McGee that forced the miss, and some decent hedging and screening.

Good game so far for the rookie, even though he's clearly a little out of his depth.

Agreed. Keep him to 20, maybe 25 minutes at first and go from there.

I’m curious as to how long it may be. The poor guy has had a rough couple weeks and now his mom passed away. Basketball should take a backseat.

AD has 27 points in the first half and his team's down double digits.

He's gonna go for 45 in a loss at the Smoothie King Centre. Just like old times.

gotta be getting close to Zion's debut right?

    2 - 3 weeks max?

Maybe because he is? I mean, he was Tulane's PBP for all sports for the past 20 years.

I'm pretty sure 8 weeks goes to December 13th or so, so 6 weeks would be basically this weekend. So yeah, like 2 or 3 weeks.

I said it before the game Kenny would be a huge problem. We don’t have anyone who can match up well with AD at the 4. Using Ingram would probably be better than Kenny but still not a good option

Yep. He can probably start getting into shape this week or next

Oop, refs just noticed Pels had a big who wasn't in foul trouble, so they'll just call another one for nothing

We need Ingram for Lebron and offense. Guarding AD would wear him out
