The talent is there. Consistency comes with more reps. It should still be more cohesive than this though. Ingram, Zo and Hart played together prior to this season and are young vets, but vets nonetheless. Reddick is a great veteran acquisition and Jrue has been with this team for some time. Oak has even seen an emergence. We should be better than we are. It’s not like we signed a full squad of journeymen.

Not many are going to be good when your 2 best players are hurt and they are 19 and 22 years old.

Come on Gentry, let it go. We are not winning this game.

    Just a ghastly end.
    Basketball.

Really needed Jrue Holiday to step up. 16 points on 15 shots.

    He's just not that guy.

I hope the Ingram injury isn’t too significant. We could’ve used his scoring in the 4th quarter. Oh well, on to Brooklyn.

    Yeah. Sigh

We know how good Jrue can be. He's down on confidence right now. I kinda blame Griffin for saying he's an MVP candidate putting unnecessary pressure on him.

Jrue’s down on confidence too often imo. He is a great player to have for the playoffs, but regular season? Meh.

It has nothing to do with confidence. It's just who he is. He's not the type to want to take a game over. He's Robin's Robin.

Would make sense. Been this way his entire career.

I honestly believe we should put Holiday on the trade block for a young talent and 1 or 2 firsts. He is the 3rd best player on an above average team at best. We are not a good team right now. He has a 2 year contract, and his value is at its peak this season.

I'm not against it and wouldn't be surprised if it happened this year.

I'm also not going to be fooled if he puts up 35 at Brooklyn. Again, this is who he is.

Every loss this season has been on the rotations of Alvin Gentry. He’s filled with excuses that every coach goes through. Yes, we lost BI.... So, he decides to play a lineup with an average height of 6’3 and a rookie center. The Pels were in the bonus with 7 minutes left in the second quarter and shot 4 FTs. He subbed Jah out who was drawing fouls consistently. It’s just kind of getting ridiculous to see the team lose by being out coached every game. They have to shoot 50% or more from three to win a game. That’s not ideal.

And Gentry has to tighten up his rotations. It's just too many players going in and out.

Even with Ingram's injury, what he had out there to end the first half gave away too many points with that OKC late run.

Yup I agree! His loss is huge when you consider his role as our PF as well with so many bigs already down. I feel it would have been a much different game.

A nightmare game to watch. We didn't play any good defence. I am terribly disappointed ... 1-5... WTF ??
