My hope is that Gentry doesn't wait too long to inject a few starters into the unit that's currently on the floor.

Dallas is throwing up bricks but the Pels aren’t capitalizing off of them. We’re matching bricks with theirs while they sit on a lead. Then their lead gets bigger off a 3 after so many misses

WTF ARE THEY DOING OUT THERE?

    1. 1 point per possession last season on isolation shots.

Yes, that's elite for an isolation shot. But isolation shots are one of the worst kinds of offense in terms of efficiency. Almost anything else is better.

Not going to win many games when your starting backcourt can't shoot.

I'm personally okay with an iso play when there's a mismatch.

It won MJ how many rings? Kobe how many? Now Kawhi? If you are elite at shooting the shot it is not a bad shot. Ingram is elite at shooting this shot making this a very good shot especially being guarded by a guard. Once again someone acting as if some analytical stat is the tell all lol.

Keying in on Doncic and Porzingas, while letting Delon Wright, Curry and Hardaway run up the scoreboard

Ingram does it way too much. To be fair, he is justified as long as he keeps the ball out of Jrue’s hands. I’m joking, but he isn’t the only one playing iso crap tonight. Gentry is a poor coach in the half court. It has always been this way

Yeah that's what I figured. We don't run an iso offense so even if they were actually an efficient shot it kills our offensive flow. I have no issue complimenting Ingram, as I've said he has been one of the few bright spots on this team so far. But people seriously need to back the crap off with out even allowing people to call out an even minor issue of his game.

If only you could have gotten to Coach Kawhi last season and told him to not take iso mid range shots but only 3 pointers.. In sure he would have a ring!

Ingram is not MJ, Kobe, or Kawhi. I'll say this very clearly. Back the heck off with defending Ingram even when I've been absolutely complimentary of his game. His game IS NOT PERFECT. Stop acting like it is and let me people voice concerns.

They aren’t in the same realm as players

LoL what you are calling out is dumb that’s why. Allowing one of your best scorers to take an iso shot and when it’s missed you point it out as some terrible shot. The numbers show you he is elite. But again you only know basketball through analytics which mean he must take the 3 at all times. LoL get over it!

Hart is playing so well for us. Maybe he needs to be the first guy off the bench.

Hart and Jackson will save this game

  18. #218
If you saw this Hart from the starting lineup, we wouldn’t be losing

Yeah, it's pretty frustrating how any criticism of him is taken personally by some.

The fact is that Ingram played great in the first quarter. Passed well, made good decisions, played strong defense. His defense has still been there for the most part, but the longer the game has gone on, the worse his decision making has gotten until it's lapsed into that isoball style again. That's not good.

Just pointing that out doesn't mean you hate him or that you're being unfair. It's just the reality of what he's doing.

Does it matter? They are in near the same realm shooting from this spot as it being one of the weapons to their offensive game.. Also Ingram is 22 and much better at this age as well. Kawhi just won a championship with this as his most dangerous threat. Yet people are gonna sit here calling it a bad shot everytime cause it’s not a 3? Yea ok!

You guys are hot with Jrue tonight lol.. I guess he deserves some heat. I think everyone's going to look a lot better once they develop chemistry with one another and the system they're playing in.

Finally some better defence and some Ball movement. Gentry put Ingram and Favors in.

Hart has been huge both games so far. He deserves real minutes and real time in the rotation from what he's done so far.

Hugely impressed by his bounce back. He was pretty pants in pre-season, and he's just come out well since.

Again. INGRAM'S GAME IS NOT PERFECT. You defending him to all depths instead of allowing people to voice minor concerns doesn't win anyone over. It makes people not take you seriously and makes it harder for your ultimate goal of people supporting Ingram here.

If your true intentions are having everyone come around on Ingram then back the hell off and let people talk about his good AND bad.
