I know we finally gave him a little bit of a payday, but I’m chuffed to see Darius stay. I like him off the bench. He was forced to start here a bit too often due to injuries.

"The Memphis Grizzlies have finally ended the ill-fated Chandler Parsons era, trading the often-injured forward to the Atlanta Hawks for forward Solomon Hill and center Miles Plumlee, league sources told ESPN on Wednesday."
Hill is really getting used this offseason!
Quinn Cook is available!

Somebody with extreme Cap knowledge. Since this Solomon Hill trade is being expanded, can we get Iggy included in this deal by including Moore and Bertans? Also, would doing that hurt the Favors trade?
This trade will become finalized after Solomon Hill is traded from NOP to ATL. All three players are in the last year of their contract: Parsons ($25.1M), Hill ($12.8M) and Plumlee ($12.5M). https://t.co/NTthuISsxb

Apparently this is a second trade that the Pelicans don't have anything to do with, officially. At least not at this point.

Another fa gone. Man if the Lakers miss out on Kawhi they are going to be in a REALLY bad spot. They have no one left out there.
Who's left on the market for the Lakers at this point?
Kawhi, obviously
Danny Green,
Boogie's corpse
JaMychal Green
Marcus Morris
Jabari Parker
KCP
Rondo
Kenneth Faried
Ian Clark
Dante Cunningham
Cheick Diallo
Lance Stephenson
Who else?
Don't tell me the Lakers might end up with a lineup of
PG: Rondo/Caruso/Clark
SG: KCP/Stephenson
SF: Lebron/Rondae Hollis Jefferson
PF: Kyle Kuzma/JaMychal Green
C: Anthony Davis/Boogie
amazing
Kawhi has touched down in Toronto, and is on his way to meet with Masai Ujiri and co. in Toronto.
They're doing some weird OJ Simpson chase stuff on Canadian TV where they've got helicopters tracking the SUV he's apparently in.
Some people took pictures of him getting off the plane. Apparently there's family with him.
Does that mean he's resigning in Toronto? No, not at all. But it's something I guess.
Free agent Markieff Morris has agreed to a deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

There goes another possible Lakers target.
I don't think the Lakers fans have realised yet that the West has very good teams in it.
Like, very good. Yes, Golden State has fallen off, but the Nuggets still exist, and the Jazz just beefed up pretty heavily. When people say ''anyone can win the ring this year'' they mean there isn't a single prohibitive favourite: not that literally all 30 teams are equally likely to win it.
