When Griff originally took the job, he said in his own press conference that for him, it's all about having the right brains on board, the right minds in the room, and that job titles don't actually matter. Said he would give someone the title of GM if that's what it took to get them, but that in reality it's more of a network than a strict hierarchy.
Langdon got given the GM title because it comes with a little more prestige, and a little more cash than his old job as an assistant GM in Brooklyn, but Griff is still definitely the head honcho. Langdon is just a mind in the room. He's a very good, very sharp mind, and he deserves his title, but when you're thinking 'Who is the executive of this team?'' it's definitely still Griff.
