I think that record is challenged today.

WOJ WITH THE INSIDE KNOWLEDGE??!?!?!
Culver or Hunter? I would take Hunter, but have heard David Griffin leaning towards Culver. https://t.co/25jDyUxEak

Intriguing.
I think the trades for the established players will fall through. The trade we will end up taking is #8 (Cam Reddish) and #10 (Jaxson Hayes) for #4 (Garland or Culver). I think we should take this trade as well.
Keeping the pick: White/Doumbouya/Garland/Culver/Bol/Hunter in order of preference.
If we trade back, I am all into Bitadze and Doumbouya.
Flap! Flap!
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.
BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.
Feels crazy knowing Zion will officially be a Pelican in like, 14 hours.
Glad to see that I’m not the only european who find soccer boring...
Anyway, I hope that we will trade for #8 and #10 to select Doumbouya (I think you didn’t get my answer about him the other day, it needed to be accepted by a moderator but didn’t...) and either Bitadze or Hayes. I’m not sure that Barrett, Garland or Culver would accept to be long term bench players, so if we don’t trade Jrue, lonzo or Ingram they would be unhappy on this team and we don’t really need that again...
I am so excited that the Pelicans will dominate the conversation of this draft. When Zion is announced, the NBA world will be focused on New Orleans and what Zion's special talent will bring to the Pelicans. I can't wait!
At #4, it depends on what happens with Memphis and New York. If they take Morant and Barrett, as expected and there is no trade of the pick, I think Hunter is the best fit. I am hoping Barrett falls to the Pelicans at 4, but Griffin should take the best player on the board and whether he takes Garland, Culver or whoever, I will accept that he believes that player is worth the pick. If they trade down with Atlanta for 8 and 10, my hope would be that he takes Hunter/White and Hayes. I believe the best way to rebuild is by starting with defense and the trio of Zion, Hunter and Hayes (combined with Jrue and Ball) would kickstart the rebuild in a very positive way. They can add shooters in FA.
For the second round picks, they could pick draft and stash guys, if available. But my late first or early second round desire is the kid from Florida State, Kabengele. Everyone has their favorites, but I think Kabengele hasn't come close to reaching his potential.
