Not false. His dad DID say that. I did not quote WHY he said it only that he did. Just because I did not quote the reason why does not negate the fact that he said he will not play in New Orleans.

"Multiple sources" in media speak means One Source that the rest of the lazy arse media echo's .
Just because multiple outlets report it doesn't mean they independently corroborated it.
It means they heard 1 dude say it & repeated it.

When news broke about Zion not wanting to come to New Orleans and/or going back to Duke there were numerous sources (yes more than one) that squashed it pretty quick. Please provide the same type of proof that this was not the case for Ball. If it was not true then surely someone released a statemen or something clarifying right? The point is his dad does not want him in New Orleans no matter what the reason. WHy is that so hard to believe? lol

I don’t much care whether Lonzo’s daddy said he doesn’t want to play in New Orleans or not. Lavar has said enough other stupid fecal matter that I wouldn’t want that near the team being built here. The main issue for me is that he and Ingram plus picks is not nearly good enough to me for the Pelicans to trade AD to the Lakers. If you have two relatively equal deals on the table and one of them is the Lakers, you trade AD to the other team. The Lakers should be off the table for consideration. Griffin can string them along if he likes, making them miss out on other players, but absent a franchise altering deal that also hurts the Lakers for years, I would not entertain the notion that AD ends up there. The Ball sideshow is just another legitimate reason not to deal with them.
