Welcome! Enjoy Pels for years to come!
Um, aren't you a new fan and poster? Should I welcome you, or are you now the master of ceremonies around here?
It's that the Hornets unashamedly quit so quickly in Game 4 after fans in New Orleans showed up this season with greater regularity than the team could have ever dreamed, shaming misinformed know-it-alls like me who kept telling you that local residents couldn't possibly invest their time and money into something as trivial as rooting for the local basketball team while still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. - Mark Stien ESPN
Hi, it's me! I was lost but now I am found. Zion. Zion. Zion.

Everyone is a new fan at some point. A lot of people are fans of teams just cause they're from the local area of that team. Being a fan of the Pels because of geographical accident isn't any better a reason than being a fan because you loved Zion in college or because you like the underdog.
We welcome all, indeed.
Basketball.
It IS a good reminder to the few peeps that have been discussing the same issues over and over like "will AD stay if...." that all kinds of people will be coming in with new enthusiasm. We need more fans. We must welcome the prodigal children.

“This is a great night for our city and our fans. It is a new beginning as we continue working to build a championship team with David Griffin and Alvin Gentry,” said Pelicans Owner Gayle Benson. “And, of course, Mr. Benson continues to look over us all!” @PelicansNBA

Come to Zion, come to Zion.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
We need more!
If you're a brand new NBA fan who never really paid attention to it before, welcome.
If you're an old hat fan who didn't pay too much attention because you were a Saints fan, but Zion has you interested, welcome.
If you're a Zion stan from Duke who just wants to watch him play in the NBA, welcome.
Guess we have to wait officially until the draft to buy a zion Jersey?
seriously, though, where is everybody? I thought this board would be flooded.
The NBA draft takes longer to trickle down newsstreams than the NFL draft. They will come.
Phone lines are open now!
