The IQ of Jrue sometimes just makes me wonder.
Not blaming the coach anymore. It’s apparent this team needs more guys that can create their own shot. We currently only have three (Jrue, Randle, AD). The rest of the roster are nothing more than specialists and they can’t get the ball in their usual spots because unfortunately our main facilitator is injured. Dell better start working the phones RIGHT NOW.

Davis playing the 5 just isn't working like I hoped. We need a real Center. Bringing in a bunch of 4s to can spot small ball 5 makes us super vulnerable to elite 5s matching up on Davis and sucking him in a vaccum.
It sucks not having our facilitator running the offense too. Feels like 4 on 5 ball on offense and defense against elite 5s.

I find myself siding with MM that Wall may be the only acquirable star player who really has a shot to elevate this team to a level that AD could be impressed with enough to stay.
Big contract, yada yada, but like we saw with Detroit trading for Griffin, small market teams can be willing to take on a huge contract when desperate enough for a star. Pels should be in that situation. Wall is still really good, and would be a great fit with AD and Jrue. Only question is, if Washington really would trade Wall in a mostly salary saving type move Pels could offer.
Ok, we renounce all cap holds, we dump Hill and Moore and we open up 1 max slot. We sign Cousins back, now we have a roster of Jrue, AD and Cousins with NO way to make it better outside of the MLE and minimum contracts. So now you are in a worse position than you are in this season, because you REALLY have no depth.. Learn how the salary cap works and how to build an actual NBA team before posting drivel.
