Everyone saying this game is over.
I understand it sucks. That was just the first quarter. We win the next quarter by 5 or so, third quarter by the same, suddenly it's a 5pt game going into the 4th. Which is entirely possible; how many times have we sucked early in a game this season only to come from behind and end it on fire? It's happened.
There's no guarantees, but please, there's no need to drink away sorrows yet.

Well that went about as poorly as it could. The thing is, they hit at ~60% and we shot like crap. Shooting %s can easily change. Especially if we start playing some actual defense
Mirotic only played 6 minutes in the first quarter, and we didn't get him a single shot. That's not going to work.

BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

Gotta give Kerr that. He cuts off the comeback before he starts. Which should be a big signal that we might've found something in that lineup.

In the same world that the defending champion with 4 All-star blowing a 15 point lead. We aren't playing the Suns. If we can close out the half strong. I like our chances, but that disastrous 1st quarter means we have to play perfect the rest of game and GSW has to go cold. The 1st is way more Lilley than the latter. GSW aren't cooling off that much.
If there's one skill that top tier coaches like Brad Stevens, Gregg Pop, and Kerr have that I wish Gentry could have, it's that ability to always know when to call the timeout. They always seem to know when it's the right move to play through the opponent's streak, and when it's the right time to cut it off before it starts. Very astute.
It doesn't seem like some massive skill to me. Just call a timeout when required. What's the hassle
