Further credit to AD's amazing Pelicans career; tonight he passed 2000 total points for the season. That is only the 2nd time in Pelicans team history a single player has scored at least 2000 points in a season. The first time was also AD, last season.
Win or Lose the Pelicans played a great game tonight. We just happened to win!! Tonight really showed this team is a playoff basketball team and if can stay out of the Rockets path can really do some work in the playoffs. We beat a very good Warriors team and yes they had no Curry but I would say the way Cook shot he gave you a similiar performance. This was an absolute huge win for seeding and the confidence of this team will be sky high going into the playoffs.
We're 5th seed right now. We play the Clippers on Monday, that should be a win with any luck.
So it all comes down to Spurs in the final game of the season. Again. We know how that works out.
Statement win. Great job by the players and coaching staff.
I don't know. I think an 8th spot wouldn't be so bad. New Orleans to Houston is a trip they could take the bus for (they shouldn't). It would drastically lower travel fatigue. And I'm interested in seeing what sort of playoff whistle the Rockets get.
They have too many weapons, however. And would wear us down. But I like our chance against the Rockets with guys who just historically haven't gotten it done in the postseason, than against a known quantity like Golden State.
So, using the logic many people on this board employ, shouldn't GS fans be calling for Kerr to be fired!! I mean, 6-9 over the last 15 games. Fire Kerr!!
