Buckwheat is the only bad enough to come off as a troll.

I've actually been here since like 2003. My old account had a hyphen in it. I lost the password. Like way back in HarveyHornet days. Whatever happened to Harvey? I miss him...and I can't remember who ran the board but he was really cool. Knowledgable. I think he went west coast. Was it West Coast Hornet? Then it was like the new guys like Fisher came in and oh my god the board went into this depressive state. I would keep trying to come back but with how low morale was and how hard it is to keep up with the team on this side of the state......and five years ago I had quintuplets....like....for real....five kids......but anyways, I would just come in in spurts.

We may complain about the downers but this is the best the board has been in almost a decade. And it's kind of understandable since we actually have hope now.

Miss the Old heads. I changed names too, used to be ClemsonTiger1906. The true fans are still here. Just tough with a mediocre GM and a team that gets (nor deserves) much love. We good, though! It'll all work out.

Bringing me back to when we would get points under our profile names for random game day competitions like who could guess game day player stats or final score.

Josh Jackson wore #11 at Kansas.
Josh Jackson wants to wear #11 for Suns.
Brandon Knight wears #11 for Suns.
Instead of choosing a new number, JJ is patiently rocking #99 at Summer League.

I'm not saying, but I'm just saying...
Jrue Holiday wears #11 for the Pelicans.
What # will Brandon Knight wear after this weekend?

My guess: we trade Asik, Moore, draft picks, and a poopoo platter of non guaranteed contracts for Knight AND Bledsoe.

It would make mo soooo happy to get two more NBA caliber guards on this team.

I haven't thought about landing both Bledsoe and Knight.. man that would be a great move imo. That would be a nice guard trio.

I've been saying... the ONLY shot we have at Bledsoe means taking Knight too. PHX couldn't even get a 2nd rounder for him at the deadline. 45+ million owed to him over the next three years. That's the negative asset we need to take off their hands to make our pupu platter worthwhile.

    The Trade:

    Bledsoe
    Knight

    For

    Ajinca
    Pondexter
    Cook
    Crawford
    Toupane
    Asik
    1st rd pick
    1st rd swap option
    2nd pick

If my math is correct that saves them 2-9 million this summer, 15 million next summer, and another 10-12 million the summer after.
We are stuck holding the bag for Knight into a third year when he could be a prime candidate for a buyout, stretch or *hopefully* trade filler for a blockbuster deal (his salary could prove valuable if a team needs to dump a star) to cap off the BoogieBrow experiment. I'm not a cap guru but I think this can be the parameter of an overall net positive trade for the Pels.

IMO Bradley would be a perfect fit for us and we should be able to offer something better for him.
This may be a reason: Heard on the latest Zach Lowe podcast that Marcus Morris is one of the better defenders of Lebron James.

I'd love to have both Bledsoe and knight. At least they are players that we'd play everyday and both just happen to be from Kentucky. Wildcat south here we come. Lol

For some reason having both of them hasn't really worked for Phoenix. Just saying

Becaus Knight is one of the three worst players in the entire league.

and yet some want him here. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side

I would take Knight if it brought us Bledsoe. He is only 25, and if people are saying that Jrue, AD, and Boogie still haven't reached their prime, then certainly Knight has plenty of room to grow (as he is younger). He can also score, so if you put him on your bench you wont go dry.

At this point, if you aren't upgrading the pg spot you need to upgrade the bench mob.

Also, seeing what guys are being paid, Knight's contract is actually not that bad. It is $13m, $14m, and $15m over the final 3 seasons, and having seen what some mediocre talent is being paid, Knight's contract isn't all that bad. His contract is the 67th highest in the NBA, and while he isn't the 67th best player in the NBA, over the length of his contract his contract will fall in terms of being the highest paid. He is currently pegged between RoLo and JR Smith.

I don't think anyone does, but if it is the necessary evil required to land Bledsoe, its not exactly swallowing poison.
