You can't make sweeping declarations from one tweet.

I'll take one Jamal Crawford. Or Nick Young. I'm not picky

I've read a lot of names on this forum in the last few days. Some free agents, some players that would be acquired via trade. I haven't read one name at all and I really wonder why he doesn't seem to be in play: Rudy Gay.

Not that I love his game so much or would even prefer him above Bledsoe, Fournier or maybe even Lin... I just wonder why he hasn't been mentioned at all. I could imagine a sign and trade wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility and could even take fewer assets than some other trade targets.

apparently he was in the mix with the warriors if iggy didn't return. saw something along Durant going to take even less to get him there.

I would advise the Pel's to stay away from Gay. He is not what you are looking for, even before the injury. He is not a ball mover, he is best at mid range or as a post up scorer, his defensive intensity comes and goes. The Pel's need shooters and defenders first, before they should worry about another ISO, mid range scorer.

Oh and greetings from Hamburg btw. Nur der HSV!!!!!

I'll be honest, I'm nervous. If they pull off a Bledsoe trade, then I am all in. But I just worry about us competing with most of these teams short of something that drastic. We have some big holes still.

  24. #874
If we land Bledsoe, we will have a top 7 (maybe top 6) backcourt duo. Pair that with having the best front court duo since Duncan and Robinson, and this team could be really special.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
