Guys, I just gotta say, after all the injuries and nights we spent just wanting to tank, for hope of a better future, it was all worth it. We just got an amazing talent. Dell pulled off a brilliant move. I've always been one of his more vocal critics, but he swung for the fences and hit a grandslam with this deal. Kudos to him. I'm really surprised by how little it cost us. I loved Buddy, but this is a deal I would make 10/10 times. A frontcourt like ours is every PG's dream, so Jrue has gotta be ecstatic right now. This is incredible.

I haven't been this excited or happy about this franchise since we won the lottery. We have finally arrived boys. Now lets party!

I would love for them to make a swing for a sharp shooter like Klay Thompson or someone like that

Ok so let me get this straight. Kings get Tyreke for the rest of this season. Galloway will be waived it seems. And the 2017 1st has Top 3 protection.

There's a very slim chance, that the Pels just got Boogie and Omri...
And the Kings got Buddy and a 2017 2nd round pick.

    Slim chance sure.... but damn!

Lol! We should have offered Asik or Ajinca and see what they have said! They might have done it!

Got the alerts while in a movie and I have a lot of thoughts. Cousins is volatile and a gamble, but the talent is there. The narrative that AD needed more help can be dispelled. What was the last big man duo this good? Olajuwon and Sampson? We can play a lot of five man out motion offense or high-horns now. I think we can safetly assume that we'll be giving Jrue a max so looking to the future I think our primary need will be a very quick, slashing guard. I am worried about Cousin's attitude and keeping him focused. Usually, in situations like his, you want a well-run organization with proven veteran leadership. We are not a well-run, stable organization. We have no veteran leadership and the only alpha-dogish players are AD and Jrue and neither have the kind of demeanor that tells me they'll call Cousins out when he needs to be. I imagine we may hear some nightmarish stories about him now. The only vocal leader we have is Hill, and I have a hard time believing that Boogie will listen to Hill.

It's not "official" but everything was agreed upon. Unless the Kings renege, which I'm sure is against the honor code or something, this trade is happening.

Well Zbo was a cancer with the Blazers but got it together with the grizzlies! Hopefully, Cousins follows and we become a bigger, younger, and better version of the Grizzlies.

Yes. And There's an argument that AD and Cousins are better are where they are at currently. NBA is different now. But still....wow.

Blows my mind to watch old NBA games from way back when during the Damon Stoudimire and and Rasheed Wallace Blazers teams and see that a young Zach Randolph was on those teams. And the dude is still kicking in the league.

Almost makes me feel like I'm getting old...

But then I remember that I was pretty young back then.

Also, I hope no one starts saying that the Kings were robbed or trying to claim who won the trade. The Kings needed to move on and blow it up to acquire more talent, and we needed to get more talent and the best we could do is take a risk in Cousins. I think both both teams did what was best for them.

But we gave up Buddy Hield (not going to be an all star but maybe a solid starter), 1st (unless we win the lotto), and 2nd rounder in this year's draft for a perennial all star and best center in the league (who is a hot head but will play with one of his best friends)! That's a steal to me!

Big gamble, highest reward of the possible trades that have bounced around, so we'll c i guess.
