Seems everytime he gets that chance he blows it. He should be dominating SL. If he could actually run the point he might have a shot at being a contributor but he hasn't shown that ability.
This is kind of how I feel about Tyreke. I think his time has come and gone with us, but I would love to see a team where he is the ball dominant player surrounded by cutters and shooters. I can see how that team could be really good but his decision making and health make it unlikely that he ever gets that chance.

Yea I agree. Reke can put up Harden type numbers but what does that do for our team. He can be effective and win games surrounded by the right players but I don't like that fit here. He needs a system built around him where as I don't think he fits in most systems. I like Reke and he could be a very good player for us but I don't think that change comes. His style IMO will never win in the playoffs when it matters.

Let's all take a moment and thank Summer League for it's greatest gift.

Once the last game is played on the 18th, right around 10 days later, NFL players will be reporting for training camp.

I know right! I'm so glad they started airing these games. It gives non baseball fans something to do until football starts up again.

Lyles is definitely SL MVP. Guy has tore it up and looked great so far. Another nice young player the Jazz have.

Yea that Gobert/Favors/Lyles rotation is going to be so sweet for the Jazz. They will be really tough this year.

Bit disappointed in our summer league team really, no-one but Diallo and Hield to get at all excited about. The other thing that crossed my mind was that story about Buddy's pre-game routine being approximately 2 hours. He didn't get that kind of warmup at summer league. So I'm quietly confident if Buddy gets an extra 100 shots off pre-game he'll find his stroke a lot easier in game.

Really doubt we pick up anyone not named Diallo & Hield from the SL squad.

Yes it looks like we weren't just helped out with an increase in the salary cap, but we get more games on TV!! Thanks LeBron, KD, Steph, AD, and all the other beast players that got fans interested in watching the NBA again. I just wish we could fill our arena!! I won't be greedy and ask for every game right now, but just maybe twice a month till we competing again lol. That all I ask. Since I moved to the Northshore I don't go as often as I'd like, but when I lived in the city I was there most nights!!

With our SL team we might have problem with chosing camp invitee...

I will offer camp invite to Barber and ...that's all.
Maybe big body like Olah. But rather will take someone experienced...

I am very dissapointed with Inglis and Minnearth.
So it is not surprise that they won't have a team in the NBA...

Please win. I want more basketball, mayne!

That ESPN article talking about the NBA Offseason Winners and Losers said that the Jazz are going to win 50 games, and be the Warriors biggest threat. I tend to agree. They are young and talented everywhere. The Warriors have outside shooting, but the Jazz would own the inside. Hill is a solid defender (as good as your going to find going against Steph), and Exum came in with a world of buzz for a reason.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I didn't think Jazz had enough superstar talent, but they are going to be seriously good with solid talent across the board

No, the part about Jimmer can average 20ppg is a joke right? If he took 40 shots a game, he wouldn't average 20ppg

For all the hype over Murray having point guard skills, he doesn't get many assists
