Well if you consider that in 14 minutes he made one of the 8 total assist of the team, got one rebound less than Diallo with half playing time, shot 8 times, you can't say he didn't try or lacked activity

His performance isn't good for sure but I'm staying middly intrigued by him. I hope the staff will give him a full 30min for one game to be at least sure he can't be of any help for our team.

With only like 2 years under his belt, they should of added Langston Galloway to the summer league squad. Well maybe they couldn't add him to the team since he just signed right before the start, I don't know. But man we could really use him if we want to be competitive lolol

Every team will play at least 5 games at Vegas.

It will be fair to evaluate players then.

But this team is not constructed well.
It might not be a bad idea to have bad players around him. Cause this is all about him and Cheick. He will have a possibility to show different abilities...

Even after five summer league games, it's not really fair to judge players.

Ben looked really good last night. Not sure what you watched last night. He is not a scorer at this point but he showed great athleticism, vision and ball skills. He made some great passes and did a good job on the boards. Philly should be happy.

Ingram played against Grant. Ingram lacks strength and was manhandled by Grant. The game just confirmed his weakness. He needs muscle.

Ben simmons played really well, clearly you just looked at the box score and not the effect he had on the game lol.

Nope. I watched the game. Dude is EXTREMELY passive. Even the coach of Philly said they will work with him to gain more confidence... it's all mental with him how he plays.

My boy Luwawu came off the bench but he looked good though. Especially from deep.

I would of loved to have found a way to get him as our project player.

Guy has all the tools you want. I wasnt as high on him as maybe you and especially 504 was(who for a while pretty much argued he was the third best player in the draft) but I think he will do fine.

Also just as a reference from saturday:

    Ingram: 3-12(FG), 0-3(3FG, 4REB, 7points.

    Simmons: 3-8(FG), 10REB, 8AST, 7TO, 8points

    Brown: 3-13(FG), 2-5(3FG), 1REB, 9points

    Valentine: 4-16(FG), 0-9(3FG), 6REB, 1AST, 8points

    Bender: 4-13(FG), 1-7(3FG), 7Reb, 12points

    Murray: 2-11(FG), 0-3(3FG), 6REB, 4AST, 5TO, 6points

For reference, Hield Friday night on his first game:
    Hield: 5-20(FG), 1-9(3FG), 6REB, 2AST, 4TO, 13points

Just thought it was worth posting for context sake. For all those that are really down on Hield for his first performance. Pretty much none of the guys before or after him have had very good games(Dunn/Simmons being the lone exceptions). Not to mention most of these guys I listed are not on their first game, so I will update after tonight.

I think you should compare their first game stats to buddy's first game stats, if you are going to compare players compare them fairly.

in summer league it is extremely hard to judge a players scoring and passing abilities, because of their teammates or lack there of. U can make great passes but if ur teammates cant shoot it wont show up on the assist sheet. U can be a great scorer, but if ur getting doubled every play because ur teammates can't score, double teams don't show up on the stat sheet. Rebounding and defense is what I usually take away from summer league games.
