Barnes is out there looking better then Leonard right now. Defending him well and not having issues scoring on him. Perfect player to add with our potential draft pick. Barnes can still improve and be a stud which I think he can be here with more opportunities.

I watched some ncaa games, highlights, read some analysis and mocks...

Still don't know how Marquese Chriss ended so high in different mocks.
Especially when his Washington did not qualified to ncaa, and he was earlier projected way out in the 2nd round...

All before Draft combine and all this stuff..

Only about 5 or 6 could offer a higher draft pick this year. For what that's worth.

It's strange, the fear of injuries. It's irrational, but also inconsistent. There's concern about Butler's injury history and Kris Dunn's...but seems that perfectly healthy players come here and immediately get hurt. So what does it matter in the end?

Healthy players become injury prone and injury prone just die. Somewhat.

Trading back is stupid and very likely it won't happen. The NBA is about having stars. We have enough guys on our roster who can play the bench. We need 2 studs and our best chance is staying in the top 10.

I think QPon would be great in place of Evans. That lineup already has enough guys who need the ball. QPon would play great D and just space the floor while knocking down whatever chances he gets. I think we have a very good shot at getting both. Still holding out hope for Ingram.

Looks raw but lots of talent that needs a little seasoning. That is the kind of players I want at 12-15 on the bench. Guys with talent that either hasn't reached their size, shooting or handling abilities. I'd get guys like him to put at the end of the bench or the D-league for a year. If they don't show improvement in that year it's time to move on but that's why they are late picks and undrafted.

I still say Evans is the perfect 6th man as SG/SF. Just don't let him control the ball like they did this season. Let him slash to the paint and pass like he currently does. He could still average 18-5-5 as 6th man. (Just don't let him hold the ball long or play PG)

Well, a lessor known part of that trade was the trade of a 1st rounder(which was expected to be a late first....because the Lakers were supposed to be winning titles and all) in the 2016 NBA draft. Well, the pick is top 3 protected. But....if the Lakers get the #4 pick the 76ers get their pick. The Lakers currently have the 2nd worst record in the NBA, so they should be safe, but if the lottery plays out with three teams picking before LA (which has happened) then yeah.

I may have missed if there was anything in that detailing the origin of the Lakers pick.

This Lakers pick came from the Phx suns sign and trade of Steve Nash and was then dealt to Philly in the Knight - MCW 3 way deal. But I think the pick you are referring to went to Orlando and led to the drafting of Elfrid Payton.

Man what a mess the Lakers have been.

I know what I would do... just gauging how big of a drop off is expected after pick 2.
