This is why I'm so high on this guy look at this one sequence form defense to to offense with the help and finding an open man as a sf.
The guy who covers DX scouting

Some more of his passing, this exactly what we need a versatile defending wing who passes and can score. he has fits Dell model of players with experience while he also has room grow.
Potentieller Lottery-Pick in der Draft 2016 Timothe Luwawu:

Do y'all think we would be able to get Skaal Labasserie in the early second round? He has high bust potential, but if he works out (and puts on some weight), his game is a perfect complement to AD imo.
Hey @okcthunder - you guys suck! Our top players are hurt. Some are dead. Some don't even like basketball. And we still kicked y'all's asses!- @TheFakeMonty
Hields shot selection isn't going to be an issue for two reasons:
1) he makes them.
2) he won't be taking some of those same shots in the NBA
Yes, because college players are shorter, weaker, and slower than nba player. A lot of things he does to dominate college just won't translate. He doesn't have great ball handling skills to create space or quickness to get by defenders. He's also not explosive to get to the rim. He is very skilled and I think his shooting will be legit but he's another 1 dimensional player that we've all complained about with Ryan, Gordon, Gee, and Asik. Meanwhile the Euro baller plays in the 2nd best leauge in europe on the best team playing major mins. His defense is already NBA ready guarding 1-3 6'7 with a 7'2 wingspan good 3 pt stroke has a nice pull up jumper and a good passer, he's already a great athlete which we lack. So either we get a great 3 point shooting and is mainly a scorer or a guy in a position of need with pro experience that does it all.
Of the top 10 who is the best two way player?
That's who we should target. One dimensional players are a thing of the past.
Anyone know which player in the draft can play on both sides of the ball? Valentine?
Bro, stop. Seriously.
So it is a positive for the guy you like to dominate subpar Euro players but for Hield it is a negative. I guess every NBA college player should be knocked for dominating college ball? Ridiculous.
And no matter how many times you want to re-write reality, it is just not going to happen. Hield measures out just fine, absolutely fine in the athleticism and size department: McCollum, Devin Booker, Reddick, Matthews, Afflalo, Beal and Oladipo are all players that measure out close to where Hield is currently slotted at in terms of athleticism and size.
And if Luwawu's defense is NBA ready based on decent but not great defense in Euro ball, then so is Hields. But truth be told NEITHER are ready to defend at a high level in the NBA. In fact they literally grade out equally in that department.
Again, prefer Luwawu all you want, just stop with this hypocritical evaluation and this obviously biased prism you are viewing each through. It really discredits your ability to objectively evaluate talent.
Valentine's scoring repertoire is about equal to Hield's. They are of a similar size right now and Hield actually has the better frame to keep adding muscle while Valentine is knocked because his size level is likely maxed out due to his frame.
And for someone so concerned with athleticism at the next level, Valentine does actually get a red flag here because he is below what you would want as a baseline for athleticism in the NBA. I like Valentine though, I think he too will have success in the league. Possibly more then Hield if he lands right and can translate his passing. This draft is actually shaping up to have some quality guard talent pretty deep into the draft.

Murray shoots that three off of screens just like JJ Reddick.
I like Layman as a second round pick. Actually reminds me of a slightly smaller Ryno.

dejounte murray from u of washington is a possibility gang, like it or not
I like Jackson from ND. Pels need a point guard that looks to distribute. With a player maker, Davis will become a one of the best. I think a true PG will elevate Asik's contributions. Right now the Pels' point guard has stats not wins.
Both are high IQ players. Length doesn't matter if you can't move your hips and stay in front of NBA caliber players.
Hield has that athleticism, scouts seem to question whether Valentine does.
Like I said, I really like Valentine, I even catch myself wondering if when all is said and done he doesn't become one of the best in this class. Both he and Hield do so much that NBA offenses look for that I have a hard time thinking either won't make it in some capacity.
We need to get Murray!! This dude is a freaking stud and the next Devin Booker. He is even better then Booker was but they both have a lot of similarities.
I'm scared that Jamal Murray is going to rise to much on the draft boards and we won't be able to get him. The kid is a beast.
