Guys, I get it, you are frustrated, and things are not going to plan....

but there is 93% of the season left. NINETY-THREE PERCENT.

We wait sooooo long for this year to start, the hype, the build-up, the excitement.......

And then after 7% of the season is over, the majority of the fan base is already looking towards next year?

Now - reread my first sentence.

Obviously this is not what any of us wanted or expected, but to give up already?

It reveals your true character - just my opinion of course.

The scary thing is he is being dead serious. Ish has played well but has also benefited greatly by the system Gentry runs and being really the only ball handler we have that can't do anything but pass. I would hope he gets 6-10 assists a game or else he would be worthless. He has finally started scoring because of the way defenses have played him which would allow me to score some points. I like Ish and would even like to keep him but he doesn't have a spot unless we trade Cole who I would much rather keep.

I agree with the both of you. Been some serious over reaction after the first 6 games. Even when healthy a realistic expectation would have been 3-3 so is 3 games really worth already calling it a tank and blowing everything up? With half a roster we hung in there about as good as anyone has with GS while the rest of the games were very winnable being obvious that what separated the teams for the final point tally was lack of talent and depth to finish. If we look this good with these guys just imagine what it will be like starting December. If we can just hover around .500 even right under we will be in a very good position to go on some win streaks having a much easier schedule ahead of us.

If Ish keeps this pace, why would you keep Cole over him? Wouldn't you go with the cheaper player as it would give you flexibility?
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Ish knocked down open threes and a few floaters and layups.

I thought he played a great game and a few of his assists were something special.

Ish has definitely improved over the last few games, but let's not get carried away.

All this Jimmer talk has got me all hot and bothered, and I can't see strait.

  9. #134
I think Jimmer really has made them play better. Bringing a guy in to shoot and the coach saying we haven't been shooting well has lit a fire under Ish and TD.

Remember Thornton or was it Thortown?

Remember when y'all said Aminu was no good? LOL.

Byron Scott would be proud. Okay you have some okay points. Judging by the empty seats they had Tuesday night at the game, how many people are buying that way of thinking? At least we have a positive now in Jimmerish

How many times have you seen the arena packed on a Tuesday? Ever?

So that is the reason? Plenty of empty seats last Friday too. You think Dallas and Portland have trouble filling the arena on a Tuesday or Wednesday night? The good news is I think it will pick up now that we are moving up. #jimmerish

People don't want to spend the money on a losing team. Sporting events are entertainment. I don't pay for tickets, but the gas, parking, food, and drink still cost me $100.

A 1-7 team is not very entertaining. At least last night the first half was entertaining.

You must really eat and drink a lot! I drive from Lafayette, pay for a ticket, get a meal before the game and STILL don't spend $100.

Unless its a playoff game and I choose to pay more for a ticket.

Yeah, I drive out from Maurepas, park at the Superdome, and eat at the arena and that total is less than $50.

Because Ish has shown to be better at one thing in his entire skill set and that's passing. We have not seen Cole in this offense running the point for 30 minutes passing up half of his shots to pass to sharpshooters. I think it's pretty obvious who has been the better player over their careers and I'll take that guy. Cole is a better defender, shooter, driver, and possibly even a better passer in this system with championship experience. Ish has played great but when we get healthy he is much less valuable to this team than Cole or even Douglas and if you can't see that I don't know what to tell you. If Ish was so great why has it taken him until he is 27 to show any life over his career? Why are coaches still not respecting his play and why is his trade value still most likely nothing? Same people that want to praise Ish won't give Dell credit for finding him which is also funny. Like I said Ish has played very well and I like him but I'm not a fan boy all the sudden that is making me blind to what he brings to the team once Cole, Evans, QPon, and Jrue are all playing.

Depends on where he sits. If he sits in the club seats that he probably spends close to a $100. If you sit in the ghetto seats up top then you don't spend that much and you don't get wifi or any of the cool perks.

It seems that no matter what team people are a fan of, they turn out like ,www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAZU6DYwTDM....When the season starts out bad...Someone please embed this video from youtube...Makes me laugh every time.

He said free tickets, so it was $100 for everything but that. He could still get food with all the other plebes in the concourse.

Hypothetically, if we landed the number two overall pick and Ben Simmons went number one, who would y'all want us to pick?
