Maybe you wouldn't hear it so much if we didn't always lose to sub .500 teams......
Sorry. I had to.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.
BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.
I'd love to knw what's the deal with the past few games and the refs not calling obvious fouls for us and touch fouls for the other team I mean come on

Asik is awesome.
A good litmus test of whether someone here is an intelligent basketball fan is whether they want to keep Asik or not. The ones that do not fail the test
I checked out the games thinking we've been losing to bad teams and beating good ones all season. It turns out that was just for a couple weeks in January. Funny how a couple weeks of playing like that made so many of us (myself included) have such a strong narrative. But the real thing I wanted to ask is, would you rather we win against the good teams and lose to the bad or would you rather they win against the sub .500 teams and lose to the good ones?
I think it shows how good we can be but agree with others on here that we need consistency. I don't think it's an effort thing either. Our guys try hard every game, they just don't have the IQ to play as well or how to adjust to each team. Hopefully they can learn. I'm starting to worry a bit about the IQ of some players I really like such as Tyreke and Jrue (although he didn't play during that stretch). Fortunately knowledge is something that is not impossible to gain.
I appreciate Asik, but I view him in the same role as a defensive tackle or a olineman in football. They don't post amazing stats (or stats at all), but their impact is felt (if they are any good). I am not expecting Deandre Jordan numbers, or anything high scoring (unless you consider 10pts a game high scoring).
I like his game, and he should stay.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
I have been saying this same thing to people for a while now. I would be FAR more concerned about this team if we beat all the scrubs and lost to all the good teams. We aren't gonna see any bad teams in the playoffs whenever we get there. Learning how to beat them now is huge. Eventually, our talent will just be too great to lose to the bad ones. That will solve itself IMO.
so the Bucks are 7-1 in their last 8 home games... just beat the Wizards
that's where we are Monday night
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
Reke is Harden without the jumpshot. Dude will be a borderline AllStar for his career. Difficult to stop due to his size, strength and handles.
Nah. If we built things right he can be our sixth man. Harden is the best player in the league at getting free throws and he makes them at an elite rate. Tyreke takes more than half his attempts at the rim and doesn't draw many free throws. Combine that with the jumpshot and Harden is one of the most efficient players in the league while Tyreke seems like a 6th man type player.
Not me. I wouldn't pay a bunch of money for a guy whose primary skill is scoring on this team. Not enough shots as it is. If I am gonna spend big money, the guy better do at least one or two things at a high level that doesn't involve putting the ball in the hoop. Otherwise, we won't get our money's worth.
So, given the choice between a Danny Green and Middleton, I go after Green every time, even though Middleton is the superior scorer.
If I was getting at something, I would just say it. I wasn't even coming close to calling him a chucker. I said his best skill is scoring. That is not the skill we need at this point.
For many teams, Middleton would be better than Green. For the way our roster is constructed, I do not believe he is. Usage rate of 22.2% for instance since the trade went down. And he is putting up 17 per game. Good to see - guy can score. But he won't get those kind of touches here. And if he isn't touching the ball, how is he effecting the game? This is my point. I want a guy who can effect the game without touching the ball. Those are the guys I would pay money to.
Hey Mike did you see this ? Thoughts?

Yeah. No thoughts.
Those guys have fun over there. It's not a real board IMO. Kind of a bunch of people blowing off steam, trying to be edgy or funny IMO. Ethically, I could never go over there because of how often they are homophobic, racist, sexist, etc. Even if its just a joke, I can't support that kind of stuff.
But people need a place like that I suppose. Just a shame that there are 2-3 solid posters over there who waste their time trying to talk ball with a bunch of psychos.
To each their own.
