Don't worry bruh h's doing a good enough job of sullying his own name with how he's played. No 3-point specialist should be shooting under 20% on 3s. Even if he's only getting 10 mins per game he should be locked and loaded. Craig hodges never complained about minutes. Steve Kerr (in Chicago) didn't mind. You have to be ready when your time comes, and do what you do.
He hasn't. And if he's not making shots then he's useless to the team, because he can't play any defense.
They knew they weren't getting DNP's and would play every game. AND they couldn't play D, either.
I will say...the guy isn't the same for some reason as far as I'm Jimmer...that is for sure.

It is weird I mean he was pulling up from 3. He definitely had more confidence.
There is a hitch in his shot if you look at it now.

i read elliot cant finish well with his right at all. said he's been exposed in half-court sets in the past due to opponents totally playing him to the right.
hope he's overcome this. it'll get totally exposed if he were to ever succeed and start earning valuable minutes. it is a dream to find out a guy has no off-hand in regards to scouting. an absolutely bad defender otherwise, can totally shut-down a good player if he forces it properly
he is a fun player to watch. i've always pulled for jimmer, but i'd love someone with more upside in there missing his shots as opposed to jimmer

I always like have length on the court. I hope he does well, whatever his role is.
So he's a hyper athletic D-League version of Tony Allen, but with more proclivity towards offense.
This is pretty much how I feel regarding all wrinkles of this story. It's nice to think that Elliot can come in and be a star, but not many staples are just bouncing around the NBADL. So there is a pretty good reason why he has been bouncing around.
As for Jimmer, I am pulling for the guy, but I would like somebody who can get a little bit more than just missed shots and suspect defense.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
Liked him coming into the draft and I know blazers fans were excited about him but he suffered a couple of injuries and never really got going early in his career. I really like this pickup. I think he will take the 5-10 mins Jimmer was playing.
From what I've read he's atleast a solid defender at both guard spots, so that alone should make him more valuable than Jimmer.

Not my words, but how I feel about Whiteside "33. Hassan Whiteside
On the surface, these numbers don’t make sense:
2010-14 (19 games): 1.5 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.8 bpg, 44 percent FG
Dec. ’14 (9 games): 3.1 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 1.1 bpg, 56 percent FG
Jan. ’15 (11 games): 13.0 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 3.4 bpg, 67 percent FG
Feb. ’15 (8 games): 14.3 ppg, 12.6 rpg, 2.4 bpg, 60 percent FG
Then you dig a little deeper, and … oh wait, this still doesn’t make any sense. Throw 2001 Ben Wallace, 1980 Billy Ray Bates and 2004 Flip Murray into a salad bowl, toss it with 2012 Linsanity/2011 Tebow dressing, sprinkle in a dash of Willie Beamen bacon bits and you’re still not close. It’s impossible to just FIND a 7-footer who protects the rim and throws up double-doubles. These human beings do not exist. They are not out there. If they possess even a hint of the possibility of doing what Whiteside did these past two months, they would have played for four or five NBA teams by now.
And you know what the best part is? Even though Whiteside’s league-minimum salary (this year AND next year!) made him semi-untouchable during last week’s trade deadline, would you be shocked if he were out of the league in three years? How difficult did Whiteside have to be to NOT PLAY IN THE NBA IN HIS EARLY/MID-TWENTIES FOR THREE SOLID YEARS? This is a league that recently employed Metta World Peace, Gilbert Arenas, Ruben Patterson and Adam Morrison!!!!! I can’t get enough of this story. Whiteside reminds me of a new character from The Walking Dead who shows up from out of nowhere, seems helpful and trustworthy, murders a slew of zombies and quickly evolves into an asset for Rick and the gang — only deep down, you keep waiting for him to turn on everyone. I’m watching you, Hassan Whiteside."
I think Whiteside is more Ike Austin than anyone, but yeah, not somebody I will dump cash into.
regarding whiteside, from what i read he was a cocky guy that brags to much. Heat is the best team for him because wade theoritically still can break defense and next season bosh's presence will help free the paint for whiteside.
