Did anyone watch that?? Easily the greatest quarter in NBA history and one of the greatest 10 minutes in sports history period... 37 points.. 9/9 3 pointers..13/13 shooting.
To think that Jimmer was drafted in front of him!

To think that Jimmer was drafted in front of him!
And people thought the Warriors were dumb for not giving him up to get Love.
NBA 2K Klay
Absolutely amazing. He was rising up and shooting clear over defenders. Kings put little RM on him and he got lit up lol. That was a true master piece for sure. Really enjoyed it.

Remember when this was a possibility...
http://www.bourbonstreetshots.com/20...o-land-gordon/
Remember when folks around here thought klay was overrated and doing that deal would be stupid. Like that was actually a debate for aa few days.
Sigh.
"With all that in mind, here is the deal that both teams should consider, and hopefully by Thursday, agree to:
Golden State receives:
Eric Gordon
New Orleans receives:
Andris Biendris
Klay Thompson
Draymond Green"
This looks hilariously laughable at this point in time. What could of been![]()
We got too greedy in asking for Barnes and Klay.
On 1 hand I kind of respect the aggressiveness of it, on the other this team could be better. Oh well, we'll drive ourselves nuts over "what ifs"
I remember when he was coming out of college. I was wishing we could get our hands on him in the draft. But it was wishful thinking.
It was hard to tell with him because he was and still is to an extent a very straight line player. He was drafted into a great situation and it helped his game blossom.
He was drafted into a good situation. USA basketball and his time in GS has done good for him.
Mark Jackson and Monty have VERY similar philosophies.
Klay Thompson had average numbers overall with Jackson.
He has taken off with Kerr.
I wonder how good Klay would be here. Better than average, of course, but I don't think Monty or Jackson would have ever gotten THIS Klay out of him
Oh, and I also leave this here for future rational as to why I wouldn't consider Jackson for coach. He might be slightly better than Monty or slightly worse. But I want a different kind of coach. One who is easily a better fit for this unit.
Yeah, maybe by bringing in a competent coach AD can reach 11 (on a scale of 1-10).
It would be nice to have a Klay type here (someone who is a threat from outside). It would open things up for everybody. Did anyone see Amin Elhassan's all underrated team (on ESPN)? He has Anthony Morrow leading the team. http://m.espn.go.com/nba/story?story...72&src=desktop I miss that guys talents.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.
I was just saying this in that bumped thread about trading ryno and gordon for lee and Thompson from Last year.
Kerr deserves a lot of credit for identifying and maximizing the potential of this roster offensively.
With Jackson at the helm this game from last night doesnt happen.
