You have to actually give an open shooter the ball for him to make a shot. Jimmer standing at the arc and not getting the ball is no different then Gordon standing there and not getting the ball. Which is what is happening both games.
Again, its not like Gordon wasn't open numerous times in the last 3 quarters. I counted at least 4 when the penetrator could of easily hit him for an open shot and instead took a bad shot.
You can't expect Gordon, a rhythm shooter, to just go into beast mode with 5 minutes left in the fourth when you didn't get him the ball for two and half quarters.
