Did I miss something?

I mean, can we swap some around the edge pieces for a SF? I don't know. Maybe throw in another future 1st. Just go all in.
But honestly, I don't think the FO sees the SF problem in the same light as some fans do. There is so much talent on this team and, despite the fact that he will start, we are looking at a 7th or 8th man if we are being real. Most seem to see a hole at 'starting small forward', I see a slightly less than ideal 7th or 8th man.
Is there a deadline for signings and trades ?
I wouldn't mind signing Francisco Garcia to be the stop gap starting sf. Extremely tough, can hit the 3, plays defense, is better than Aminu.
I would like Rush, Garcia, Jordan Hamilton (my ideal person), or Richard Jefferson at the SF. We just need a guy who can shoot the 3 on a consistent basis. He doesn't need to be an all star but just get the job done. I would love to get a big time SF when Gordon is gone.
What about the overseas guy that was rumored Dell was interested in. Joe Ingalls I think was his name. Anyway we could bring him over for SF? He wanted to start which we could give him. Could we pay him what he wants to come over?
I JUST mentioned him in my other post. Forgot about him. . .again. Lol.
He turned down Memphis last year to come over, I'm not sure if that was because it was non guaranteed or if they didn't have PT or what.
I do know his contract has an opt out clause for the NBA. Couldn't find what his current contract was. Before signing it he was on a 2yr/6M total deal. I suppose he could be in the RLE range. Maybe even a guaranteed min as long as we promise him PT and give him 2 years.

"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
It's so sad that I'm actually waiting up for this transaction to go down...
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
I would love Garcia and/it B.Rush... Both are solid defenders who can hit the three and that is exactly what we need out of that starting sma forward position.
Good night to all
And to all a good night
Don't blame MM for something not going down when you guys want it to go down....
I'm probably the only one complaining about it, but the issue comes from because of MM's sketchy past with his ''sources''. Not only did the details not leak today or yesterday like he said they were, I don't even think Ely can be traded until the 14th.
And for the record, I still enjoy MM's posts. He just has a past of making stuff up.
