I've always been a Demps believer. I'm usually impressed by what he can pull off with what he's had to work with.

He really is/did IMO.
If he would have just been conservative, what could he have got with cap room or the MLE? I mean, he couldn't have even gotten Jordan freakin Hill. Looking at the price tags, maybe he could have gotten CJ Miles and brought back Smith and Aminu.
I mean, seriously, I want people to think about who they would feel about that offseason. Just stop and think about it.
I'm EXCITED about Asik. I'm excited about Russ Smith. We just need to add a solid SF and we need more 3 point shooters. We need way more 3 point shooting. We have a team that will be tough. We're going to push other teams around.

As people have said before, I consider this off-season a success so far. But it's not an A= untila certain someone is traded away. I don't see it happening though. Unless something crazy happens.
Looks very weak at SF considering we are talking a vet min SF. Just gaping lack of outside spacing and perimeter defense at the wings. Love everything else obviously.

I'd like another shooter. I guess the SF could provide that.

The market is non existent. And, I now people will roll their eyes but:
1. The team thinks he will really benefit with Asik there now (defensively)
2. They think he will be healthier to start the year than he ever has been
He won't be moved this summer unless some other team goes from 0 to 60 on his evaluation. But if he does show out, it could benefit the franchise long term. Just gotta hope for the best. I am sure he is seeing all this money out there and possibly thinking about this as a contract year.
And that is exactly what they are targeting.
I think it is an insanely deep roster that is one move away (guess which one) from being a terror. People see the below avg player at SF, but how many teams have a good to great player at all 5 positions? Better yet, how many teams have a 6th and 7th man like Ryno and Tyreke???

Small difference, but one of the SF will probably be a room MLE player (~2.7m). Let's pray they're less actively harmful than Stiemsma was on that contract.
Hmmm... so when the dust settles we have kept Ajinca and Babbitt. Would love to get a legit 3.

I know you want say who it is McNamara, but do you know or atleast have a good idea on who they are targeting?
