Even though I distinctly remember a podcast where he was saying for Portland to be true contenders, they should try to upgrade Lopez to Asik by using CJ McCollum.

What Guru is trying to say is, Asik for a 1st that Houston gets if it is between 4 and 19.
Not to Houston. One of those 5 or Rivers HAS to be moved somewhere. there is only rumors of which one and to where right now though.

Also it would be any of our core 5 or Rivers. I think it's safe to remove AD from the list however. Odds are Dell is shopping for the best deal.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Rockets are set to deal C Omer Asik to the Pelicans for a future first-round draft pick and $1.5 million.
This should be about a done deal and it's a big move for the Pelicans, who had a lot of injury and depth problems at center last season. Look for Asik to start alongside Anthony Davis next season, and look for his fantasy value to take a nice jump now that he no longer has to deal with Dwight Howard. As for the Rockets, they're clearly making monetary space in hopes of acquiring LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony. Additionally, Michael McNamara is reporting that the Pelicans have to trade Austin Rivers or Eric Gordon in order to take on Asik, so there's likely more to come in this deal after the draft.

There is no new rumor. Aussie got some information confused. I explained it to him in pm. He was referencing the rumor Havoc mentioned.
I'm guessing he had mistaken "player X" with another player with the same last name? That where Boston came from?
