Kevin Durant has to look himself in the mirror and ask if he really wants to be an All-time great.

No excuse for Westbrook to be the best player on their team during these playoffs.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Only a matter of time before Unibrow surpasses Durant. Hopefully he has enough help around him. He deserves it.

It's inevitable. Simply by virtue of AD being a factor on both sides of the court.

Yeah watching those final few minutes I saw a side of Durant that I'd never seen before. He's gotta get stronger and get on the block. His inability to punish the Spurs for playing anybody but Kawhi on him allowed SA to go small. Of course their complete lack of understanding time score and situation doesn't help, as does their lack of an offensive system but that first part at least KD can control. Also, LeBron has no equal in this league, I hope that's clear to everyone now.

Some on this board would tell you he's not (not me, but some people).
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I think the Spurs win, but if the Heat do, I move LBJ into the top 3-5 All-Time. I already think he is the 2nd best perimeter player of All-Time. He keeps this up for 3-4 more years, we can actually have a Jordan/Lebron debate

I think Vogul and Brooks are both going to waste another year of talent next year.

80+ degrees? That ain't how basketball supposed to roll.

This should favor Miami, right? It's the heat...

Geez. The Spurs are killing themselves with all these turnovers.

Don't have accès to the box score - How is Kawhi "the #1" doing?

Not much. Can't stay outta foul trouble.

James is absolutely gassed and looks kinda bummed out. Hell. 4 and a half minutes to go and James is on the bench.

Wanna talk MVP. LBJ goes out, heat fall apart
The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.

ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding

These words should not be used lightly

I feel for Lebron. I don't know how we bball players made it through biddy ball with only those two fans.

Leonard had a good game all things considered. He had the 2nd highest +\- difference on the Spurs team.

Team is built around him. Only player that can get his own shot is Wade and sometimes Norris Cole and Ray Allen.

He also is the guy their whole defense hinges on.

It should be fun watching how he plays this series. He had foul trouble, so he couldn't get much rhythm, but I imagine that we all know what kind of player he is.

Most of us do. Very good player who can be a fringe All-Star for years to come.

If Eddie Jones, Rip Hamilton, and Thunder Dan made 3 All Star games, Kawahi has a solid shot at making a few AS teams before the sun sets on his career.

I enjoy his game as he is just a glue guy right now, but you can see his time to take a bigger role is on the horizon. But maybe your right, maybe he is another Shane Battier or Mike Finley...not a bad career to have. Or maybe he will be like Ryno a always dream of making an AS team (is that really something players dream of?).

  21. #746
Exactly - that would be a very good career for a 15th pick.

I like his game a lot, but the Scottie Pippen comparisons were not fair to the kid. He was a PF in college. he will never have the ability to consistently be able to put the ball on the floor, create offense for himself or others, or shoot off the dribble at a high level. He is in the perfect situation right now and is a very good player. He is not Pippen and he will not be superior to Davis. That was the part where it went overboard.

  22. #747
Who said he would be superior to Davis? That's just crazy.

I do believe he is going to shock a lot of people next year (or whenever the Big 3 start to trail off). He has improved every year in, and the good thing for him is his defense is good enough to keep him on the court giving him the opportunity to improve his offense.

I'll give you one guess - who do you think?

    Da throne?

As is hr.com custom (Er pr.com now), reference the post of shame.

Mark Jackson is dumb. "The great ones just tell their body 'I'll talk to you tomorrow'."
