Thread: 2014 Playoffs - Geaux CP3

Seems like Stephenson is taking on the defensive matchup George should.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

But George wouldn't whisper sweet nothings into LeBron's ear...

You know what... maybe thats what the Pacers need. I'm starting to think that Stephenson is the gas that gets the Pacers vehicle moving. It would be tough to watch this team without him. Now don't get me wrong, i don't really love his antics,. but i'm saying for the sake of the Pacers i think he's more needed than say.. Hibbert.

I agree with you on that one. You don't have to be the highest paid guy, or the captain of the team to get your team going. You have to have true grit, and Lance has that in spades. He is earning every bit of his new contract, and people saying that he will be overpaid are crazy. He is finally reaching the potential that so many people thought he had when he entered the league.

It's crazy to think that he was a 2nd round pick.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I don't think he'll get overpaid tbh. I think he has enough red flags to keep his contract within reason. If he were 6'7" though I'm pretty sure he'd get a max without a doubt. Funny when you think about it.

One or two inches doesn't just matter in the bedroom.

this just made me spit water on my monitor. LOL
The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.

ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding

These words should not be used lightly

So I've determined this offseason what I want more than anything is the NBA figure out a way to fix the shooter jumping into the defender and getting two shouts out of it.

You'd think he would have wanted that match-up because then he wouldn't have to see big men shoot 3s.

Nothing is wrong with spurs v heat. Spurs v pacers = snooze fest. Spurs would probably win in 4

How could I forget the guy that gave LeBron problems in the Finals last season! Shameful.

LBJ averaged 25 - 11 - 7 in last years finals. Diaw is the LBJ stopper. He did an awesome job

He wasn't on LeBron the whole time, but was the only guy who was able to stop him from effectively posting up and force him to shoot jumpshots.

Anyone who watched every minute if that finals saw Diaw giving lebron fits. Did he shut him down? No of course not but he def contained him when on Him.

I just looked up his size and he I'd listed at 6'8" 215. I don't believe that weight at all. He looks wide bodied just like Jared Sullinger.

I was in Europe during the finals so I didn't see every game because they came on too late. The few games that I did see, LBJ looked like LBJ.

I want the Thunder to win this game, but not on a blown goaltending.

  23. #723
The thunder have to be the most frustrating team to watch in the nba.

Westbrook just does some head scratching stuff sometimes.

Scott Brooks is Doug Collins. Not sure who they can get that take this squad to the next level.
