He's doing it on purpose. AD23forMVP you're very cruel.
Hm it shows for me in the op and the quoted post. Hold on, have one last idea.
Guess if this is the renovation it's a little disappointing.

I can confirm the stairs being torn down coming from the side by the CapitalOne Club. They started on that almost immediately following the ASG. Nothing else is being done from what I can see. I'm in the Entergy Building with a clear view of the construction. If I see anything major I'll try to remember to post with pictures.

The original plans were much more ambitious on the exterior, but were WAY over budget. It's not all too surprising that it's been scaled back.
please be real, anything is better to look at on my daily commute than the 80s bathroom palette

Here is another picture that was in the pamphlet. As you can see, the bottom of the arena (Girod Street, team store) seem to have been upgraded.

and lastly, the entire page, includes to what BBS must have referred to as the sports bar:
Nice. I like that look a lot. Finally our Arena will have some accent lights.
Why does the second picture look so different from the first one?
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
It's paint, not new tiles.
And the sports bar is the wording in the plans.
