Glenn Davis is apparently going to be bought out on friday, would anyone be interested in signing him to finish out the year since we couldn't get Jordan Hill?

I would be. We could use our exception for him, I think. I'm not well versed in the CBA.

Don't the 76ers need to keep granger to get to the salary floor?

Sweet. Maybe we can have AD dunk over him again with CPMe watching.

I don't get the Earl Clark love. Yeah alright he's huge for a SF. He had 1 OK year with the Lakers, everything else has been poo.

I see Clark as a different flavor of Aminu. Shoots a little better, not quite as good at rebounding. Either is fine as a bench option. No need for both and giving Aminu's minutes to Clark now might limit our chances to resign Aminu if we need to do the same thing we did last year and offer a 1 year deal at the last minute because we couldn't upgrade him.

Clark is likely not the answer. If we were looking for a cheap bench player who could give us a few minutes, I would welcome him.

Clark and Babbitt would be redundant. Those are the two that would overlap.

    No thanks.

I gotta say, i've been pleasantly surprised by Babbit. He's not a world-beater by far, but he definitely is bringing something to the table.

This is the kind of stuff that needs a new thread. Not Eric Gordon Trade thread Redux version 27863873786

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

You'd have to buy the whole thing out an still be responsible for the cap hit through the years.
