If you are expecting a championship you are going to be let down. The odds are stacked against this team no matter the coach. Of the 30 teams in the league only 17 have won before. That's crazy to think about. There isn't much parity in the NBA.

I'm not an advocate of Monty, but people act like he isn't good at anything, and that's just blind hate.

I know Benson never misses a Saints game. When was the last time anyone saw him lately sitting courtside at a Pels game? Left at halftime during Washington game supposedly and has not been seen at the arena since!

This is the the problem i have with a lot of people here's assessments. I just don't think they're fair. There's a lot of people level headed that want him gone but there's also a lot of people who just see red when Monty is brought up and just act like he's worthless to the sport.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Good at clearing out an arena that is for sure. Not hate just nature of business. He just not good and the overall record states that!

Yeah, this year they got me my tickets after the first game, and in the wrong section. When I told them I was sold the wrong tickets they told me to check my invoice, and they had never sent an invoice. Get in a pissing match with me and you can take your ****ery elsewhere I don't have that time. Got my money back and I wont be returning til they get their **** together.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Great Big Men in the NBA usually Win Championships Period. And I don't have time for loser expectations, Anthony Davis is special Larry Brown was right, EVERYTHING you want out of a Franchise corner stone you have it in this kid and he is in my opinion already a top 10 talent. We have been gifted the opportunity to create something very special and need not waste time with mediocre to poor coaching and sub par management.

This team needs wins and he sits AD over a sore pinky? This Monty Williams guy got's to go...

  11. #861
I understand AD sitting, but what I don't understand is how we can't do well when AD, Gordon, and Reke are still healthy. Switch things up!

And is it just me or is the Austin Rivers pg project over, and we are just trying to get him on the floor in any capacity possible. You never hear as much about Rivers being a pg project anymore and we are stuck with Brian Roberts starting.

I think the Rivers at PG full time thing died when we traded for Jrue.

I think Rivers and Tyreke play alright together (to the point where distinguishing Rivers as a PG is kinda pointless) but it would actually be a great combo if at least one of them had a consistent jumpshot.

He's bald, and I hate his suits. Therefore, Monty deserves to be fired.

See people. This what I'm talking about as a legitimate argument. Monty DOES wear awful suits.

Sitting AD means he should get fired? What a joke! Whoever thinks that knows nothing about basketball and how the whole operation works. If it was up to Monty he would be out there with a broken hand. It's called team doctors trainers and the players make the final call with an injury. Why risk Our whole franchise injuring it worse over 1 meaningless game. Seriously what a joke.

First of all these games aren't meaningless and second of all if Davis hand was really broken he wouldn't be scheduled to play in the next game, this Saturday. Stop exaggerating, it was Monty's call to sit Davis. He needs to go...

I guess you missed the pregame interview with Monty. Team doctors, trainers and even AD said he could play but it was Monty's decision to sit him and get ready for the Bulls on Sat. AD dislocated his finger and was good enough to finish the game so why would Dumb Dumb not listen to his doctors, trainers and own player who wanted to play? My guess is that Monty has been given another free pass this year due to the injuries so he decide to give AD the night off. A good player wants to play regardless of any situation as long as he can play. Monty seems content on keeping AD under his control with the mindset of bringing him along slowly which seems to lack any real logic but that is why he is the brainchild of our team. Can't wait to see how many season ticket renewals we get when it is confirmed Monty will be back for another losing season.

Jeff Hornacek and his talent deprived Suns are ripping it up this year...so why are we making excuses for Monty again?

For some it's just to play the other side and have a dog in the fight. For the sake of arguing.

Was it reported somewhere that it was Monty's call? Because if so that would be very much out of the ordinary. Every time Monty is asked about injuries he usually doesn't even know exactly what's going on because it is out of his hands and the docs decide.

Plus, you do remember that this was the second of a back to back? It's pretty standard that if a player has something minor that he sits one of the two games back to back for precautionary reasons.

The way getting hurt can go is you're fine during the game, but after sleeping, it swells up and gets tight and sore.

    AD will be gangsta.

Monty can't set a rotation or do in-game management worth a ****. What was that game we lost on a last second shot because he left Morrow in with 1 second left?
