If Rudy Gay went 40+ on the Monty defense, How many points does Lebron put up in March against us? Remember last year?
I just wish we had a coach who could make adjustments in game when we're down 10 points.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

What would Donald Trump or Gordon Ramsey say about Monty's coaching style?
I personally believe, that Montel is the perfect coach to spearhead the tank from here on in.
Just some random Monday morning thoughts on the Monty situation.
I like his offensive coaching. He runs fairly creative sets and this group when healthy should be a top 5 offense.
Defensively, he needs to be able to adjust to the direction Dell has for the team.
If Dell sees Ryno/Davis as our front court of the future, the AD hedging needs to stop. You can’t leave Ryno as the primary rim protector on every P&R. Yes, the AD hedge creates a decent amount of turnovers, but when it doesn’t cause a turnover, it leads to disaster.
If Dell doesn’t see Ryno/Davis as our front court of the future, I’m fine taking the lumps that come with implementing a defensive philosophy before the players arrive who can execute it.
I see a few possible futures:
1. Dell sticks with Ryno/Davis, Monty doesn’t adjust, and is justifiably fired.
2. Dell sticks with Ryno/Davis, Monty adjusts, and we defend the P&R differently.
3. Dell moves Ryno, pairs another rim protector with AD, Monty’s hedging works as intended, and our problems shift to offense.
To me, whether or not Monty keeps his job this offseason depends on:
a. Whether or not Dell has told Monty the personnel direction he would like to take.
b. If he has, whether or not Monty has adjusted accordingly.
You are not a NBA Head Coach if you cannot coach a lick of offense.. That is all
This team is quite putrid without 4 of its starters also.
R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
When are people going to realize (when healthy) that offense is not our problem?
I am so sick of this idiot running this team. I honesty don't know if I have ever seen such a lack of basketball IQ out of any team I call recall watching it any level of basketball. What I don't understand is why know one in the local media is saying anything to help call this garbage out in hopes of putting some kind of pressure on the front office. We will never get any coverage from the national guys so if we got know one to put pressure on Benson and Company we will see Monty back for many years to come. Based on the fact that dumb dumb sat AD tonight when he was good enough to finish last nights game and told dumb dumb he was good to go tonight the only logical reason I can think of is that Monty must know he will be back again next year. It sucks being a fan of this team and being in a small market in the NBA.
Do we not want to keep our damn pick all of a sudden?
Wins are irrelevant now.
Actually, our offense is pretty good.
Out of all the problems with Monty coaching this team. . .offense is not one of them.
Look I'm fine with people bashing Monty for legitimate reasons, there are plenty, but come on. You can't just blame Monty for everything. It weakens your argument.
